"This shade has done a great job of dealing with the Texas sun but it is still a bit pricey for the performance. Probably would still buy it though for its looks and durability. It does have a custom made feel to it." —Paul L from Rockwall, TX bought a Covercraft Car Sun Shade for a 2008 Ford F-150.
"Installation is easy and quick. I bought a Weathertech sun shade for my wife's 2011 Edge and it's not worth the money. The suction cups that are supposed to hold it to the windshield do not work at all and they are constantly falling out. The Covercraft is far superior." —Daniel S from Grapevine, TX bought a Covercraft Car Sun Shade for a 2008 Ford F-150.
"This sun shade is sturdy and well made. It fits well and folds up nicely for storage." —Barbara S from Mansfield, MA bought a Covercraft Car Sun Shade for a 2008 Ford F-150.
"finally a sun shade that realy works, fit very good ,looks good and can store it in its carring bag so it stays clean, ready to use when i need it.thanks again, richard" —Richard H from Fruitland Park, FL bought a Covercraft Car Sun Shade for a 2008 Ford F-150.
"The shade fit perfectly to the inside of the windsheild. Quality fit and function were all excellent. I did opt for the pouch to store the shade. Wise choice, fit perfectly and glad I bought the pouch.
I did by one of these for my SUV, but after a year of use, the hinge points seem to be breaking down and will soon fall apart. I am in central Texas and the heat and sun in the summer is quite intense. I am sure that augmented the hinge points." —Thomas S from Fort Worth, TX bought a Covercraft Car Sun Shade for a 2008 Ford F-150.
"The custom fit is very nice. It covers the entire window and has the correct notch for the mirror. You'll soon know which folded edge to put down on the dash and then just spread your arms, lift your arms, fold down the visors and you're done. The shade only folds one way so it's simple to take out as well.
The shade is a tad bulky, but no matter for me as I have plenty of room to toss in the passenger or back seat.
I'm not sure it's worth the price. That decision will take some time to determine when I can measure the time it lasts." —James V from Selma, TX bought a Covercraft Car Sun Shade for a 2008 Ford F-150.
