Great Product, great price

The string is tacky, so the first dozen or so holes are tougher than the rest. Line up the string with one hand, as you draw through with the other so you minimize friction and slight tearing of the lace holes. Draw the string very tight after lacing the first couple of holes, as it really looks best when pulled tight. Clamping your thumb or finger on the lace as you re-insert through the next hole keeps the tension. I love the look, the feel and quality. Plan on putting a good quality leather conditioner on it to soak overnight the first night, as the leather is pretty dry. These will become standard on my vehicles as they age, and even new vehicles without leather grips.

Great cover, cumbersome installation

Reviewed By Milan N (HICKSVILLE, NY) Reviewed for a 2009 Toyota Matrix —7/8/2015 7:26 AM

I'm going to average five stars for the excellent quality of the wheel "skin" and three stars for installation. Little did I know what I was getting myself into with the sawing kit Wheelskins provides. I think the "ease" of stitching a Wheelskin is greatly understated. I took me over an hour on the first pass, and it was tricky to stitch around the spokes. In the end, I wasn't happy with it so I removed the stitching and went through with the exercise once more. Still not too happy with it.

Stylish Quality

Reviewed By Jananne J (SANTA BARBARA, CA) Reviewed for a 2005 Toyota Tundra —7/6/2015 9:36 PM

This cover is made with impressive craftsmanship. It is stylish and fits perfectly. My only recommendation would be to match the lacing thread with the primary color. I got the tan with red cover which came with black thread and I redid it with tan thread and it looks great!
