Wheelskins cover

These Wheelskins steering wheel covers are fantastic. I have purchased many of them over the years for every car I buy. I particularly like the all perforated ones which give much better grip. I also always buy a lighter but matching color to my interior which results in a wheel that does not get as hot in the summer as the typical black steering wheel. AutoAnything has the best prices!!

Really nice fit and finish

This is the second one I've installed. This time I reamed out every hole with the needle while sitting on the couch. It really helps to do this before install. As they say in the instructions, too, pull the lace TIGHT once youve gone back thru the back hole. Don't worry about breaking the thread, it won't happen and the tighter you pull the more the gap closes and the better the look. At the tie off end I used a crochet hook to pull some of the start threading tighter and it worked like a champ.

Good product just watch your installation.

Tedious to install, but quality & instructions are excellent. Downsides-the wheel rim is fat and left laces exposed. Where spokes attach to rim, you only lace the front & as a result, an ugly bulge in the cover. And be careful to position the cover on the wheel so it is properly centered. After I got about half way around with lacing, I realized that the seam would be too exposed and not where I wanted it. Too late! But, overall a worthwhile addition.
