Worked perfectly

Reviewed By Joseph N (Ho Ho Kus, NJ) Reviewed for a 1999 Toyota Avalon —7/2/2008 7:09 AM

I received the item within two or three days, and the color I was expecting was exactly what I received. The quality of the piece is excellent. The instructions on how to do this were clear and left nothing to the imagination. This was my first wheelskin job, so it took me about two and a half hours to get it done. Also, the 99 Avalon has two particularly wide supports to work around, and that added some time. Even so, what really makes this work so well is the waxed twine. The instructions say to make sure the skin is tied on tightly, and the waxed twine locks in each stitch, so you can follow their instructions. Remeber, when going around a spoke, if you make a dummy stitch, make sure you skip the corrosponding hole on the other side. Be patient. I have to admit to having a great deal of fun doing this project. It came out so well, I'm actually looking for other steering wheels to work on. Great product, and made in the good old USA to boot.

Stylish Quality

Reviewed By Jananne J (SANTA BARBARA, CA) Reviewed for a 2005 Toyota Tundra —7/6/2015 9:36 PM

This cover is made with impressive craftsmanship. It is stylish and fits perfectly. My only recommendation would be to match the lacing thread with the primary color. I got the tan with red cover which came with black thread and I redid it with tan thread and it looks great!
