Covercraft Car Sun Shade Reviews

Finally, a covershade that works in my little red convertible

Reviewed By Donna T (Houston, TX) Reviewed for a 1995 Toyota Celica —8/27/2014 11:55 AM

For years I struggled with inexpensive, poorly fitting sunshades to keep the black interior of my convertible from turning into an oven and to keep the black steering wheel from burning my hands. Nothing worked--they were too big, too thin, or I couldn't figure out how to collapse it, etc. Then I went to lunch with a co-worker and admired her covershade. "It's custom-fit," she said. You should get one. It will change your life." It has done that.

Excellent Sun Shade

Reviewed By Leicester C (Fairfield, CA) Reviewed for a 2002 Toyota Celica —7/31/2013 8:27 PM

I love this sun shade. It fits my '08 Lancer perfectly. I can definitely feel the temperature difference. Can't really attest to the 40°F cooler, but it is definitely cooler. It's still summer, so I haven't tested the backside yet, which is supposed to do the opposite by absorbing the heat and keeping the inside of the car warmer. But overall, it fits very nicely, only some light gets in near the rear view mirror because the way I have it, but still a really nice sun shade.

Intro-Tech windshield shade

Reviewed By Craig H (ALBUQUERQUE, NM) Reviewed for a 2015 Ford Fusion —8/27/2015 8:26 PM

Fits perfect - little to no gaps at the sides or around the rearview mirror. The shade significantly lowers the interior temps 20 degrees or so better than the 2-hoop style I had previously. It's a bit awkward to roll up and then it' gets tossed in the back seat. It's too big to fit in the seat pocket, something to consider if you have a car full of people to haul around.
