"Im enjoying my sun shade it was expensive BUT worth it. If you want something good and that go beyond look no further. Im using it on my new 2012 VW GLI very happy customer. The only negative thing is that they get to you like in three weeks since they are customized." —Gerardo G from San Benito, TX bought a Covercraft Car Sun Shade for a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta.
"My wife wasn't happy with the store-bought shades for her car - they were either too big or just didn't fit correctly. The Covercraft car sun shades really are custom cut to the vehicle and slip right into the windshield opening without having excess material to fold out of the way and without even having to move the mirror! Unfold, slip into place, and fold the sun visors down and voila - the sun shade is in! Fits so well that I will probably order one for my pickup.
Great product!" —Robert S from Derby, KS bought a Covercraft Car Sun Shade for a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta, Sedan.
"I debated back and forth between the Ultimate Reflector and a similar product by Covercraft (UVS100) for my 2012 Jetta GLI. I am pleased with the product. It is thinner than the UVS, which relies on thicker insulation with a semi-reflective surface vs the Intro-Tech which uses a foil surface. Fit is good, although there is a huge opening above the mirror and a small gap at the lower corners of the windshield. It definitely works and lowers the temp inside after sitting all day in the sun." —Adam K from Chesapeake, VA bought an Intro-Tech Automotive Ultimate Reflector Car Sun Shade for a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta.
"I have a VW 2012 Jetta GLI autobahn, this shade works awesome definitely reduces the heat inside the car. Fits perfect, easy stuff. Great product no doubt." —Dario O from Buena Park, CA bought an Intro-Tech Automotive Ultimate Reflector Car Sun Shade for a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta, Sedan.
"I had one of these for my previous vehicle and loved it, so I didn't hesitate to buy a new one for my new vehicle. These are supposed to be custom-built to fit the vehicle, but mine hits my rearview mirror and I have to work to get it behind the mirror; often it knocks my mirror out of its setting so I have to reposition mirror before I drive. I didn't have this problem with the first one I owned.
The thing I like about it is that once I've put it in position, it stays there (unlike the cheap rollup ones that bend and fold and don't stay in the windshield). It covers all of the front windshield and there is NO sun getting thru from that direction.
Except for the mirror issue, I would be rating this all Excellent. That issue, though, irks me, so I downgraded a bit." —Debra P from Kingsland, TX bought a Covercraft Car Sun Shade for a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta, Sedan.
"Great sunshade! Price is higher than the generic fold up sunshades at auto parts stores, but you get what you pay for. The last one I bought from Wal-Mart started shedding material on my dash that looked like I killed a moth there. I threw that one away quickly. I guess for $5 I shouldn't complain. I recommend this one, it blocks sunlight and heat and fitsmy car perfectly." —Rick P from Lago Vista, TX bought a Covercraft Car Sun Shade for a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta.
"Construction of this item is great. It also does a much better job of keeping the car cool than my cheaper cover did. It is a little bit of a pain to put on the windshield, fitment could be a little better around the rear view mirror also. But, I would buy this item again if I needed it for another vehicle." —Allen L from Mansfield, TX bought a Covercraft Car Sun Shade for a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta, Sedan.
