I have 06 WRX STi and use it for autocross. I needed a new battery and wanted to save some weight as well. I chose 11.5 lbs battery because it still provides enough power supply for my vehicle if I want to daily drive it and use all the comfy stuff like radio, ac and more. I saved 20 lbs compare to the stock battery. It arrived fast and safely packaged. Very happy with autoanything service and excellent price.

installed 15# battery in a g35 a week ago and it starts car easilly.my driving is mostly highway. don't know how it would handle city or high reserve capacity use. it reduced front end weight by 22# and offset some of the extra weight of my supercharger.my limited experience is positive.

Reviewed by Joseph L (Irvine, CA) 2007 Honda Fit — Nov 28, 2011 6:24 PM
Installed this into the Honda Fit (2007). Replacement was not difficult, but the lack of Braille specific j-hooks (TireRack ships them), and lack of hex-wrench for the hex-screws (brass studs), was annoying. Braille specific mounting bracket would be nice too, but not part of this package. Also, the brass-studs are slightly conical so it prevents proper friction mounting of stock feeder contacts. Needed some loctite to make sure the screws didn't loosen up from vibration (no instructions on needed torquing), and some silicon lubricate to keep oxidation off. Cold-crank start is now effortless, and the idling is smoother than can be remembered.
