The battery in my stored Corvette croaked and defied attempts to resusitate it. The new Red Top had the motor running on the second crank.

seems to be up to the job so far. Corvette electronics tend to drain a battery while sitting but no problems yet. I do put on a charge maintainer if it sits jn the garage for more than 2 or 3 days.

I have worn out two of another premium battery in my Suburban with a Cummins engine. All the batteries I have used crank my engine just fine when they are new, but they don't last well enough. One cold winter puts a lot of stress on a battery and then by the next winter, my battery was too weak to run the intake heater and still crank my Cummins. So I purchased a Odyssey battery this time and hope that it will last me at least several years. I will know two years from now if it was worth it.
