Braille No-Weight Batteries Reviews

Great battery, but make lacking proper hooks or hex-wrench

Reviewed By Joseph L (Irvine, CA) Reviewed for a 2007 Honda Fit —11/28/2011 6:24 PM

Installed this into the Honda Fit (2007). Replacement was not difficult, but the lack of Braille specific j-hooks (TireRack ships them), and lack of hex-wrench for the hex-screws (brass studs), was annoying. Braille specific mounting bracket would be nice too, but not part of this package. Also, the brass-studs are slightly conical so it prevents proper friction mounting of stock feeder contacts. Needed some loctite to make sure the screws didn't loosen up from vibration (no instructions on needed torquing), and some silicon lubricate to keep oxidation off. Cold-crank start is now effortless, and the idling is smoother than can be remembered.

Cleat's SL-600

Reviewed By Cleat G (LEWISVILLE, TX) Reviewed for a 1999 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class —5/6/2014 6:36 AM

One of our cars is used infrequently, the battery goes dead. Try getting the trunk open to charge the battery when it's locked, there is no key and the remote fails because the battery is dead. No problem to get in the car. Have bought numerous 'devices' to open the trunk. None worked except the Self Charge Auto Jumper. Best buy ever.
