First, this will not change the sound coming out the back. However, after a week or two, they seem to "break in" and there is a nice deep growl from up front (especially when you get on it!). Second, they do give more torque. I can light my tires up pretty much at will and there is certainly more get up and go. Again, don't go in thinking it will turn a V6 into a V8, but I guarantee they will think twice at the light!
