Add Performance and Power with Confidence

Thanks to the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act: US Code – Title 15, Chapter 50, Sections 2301-2312, your vehicle’s factory warranty is protected by law when you add aftermarket parts.    Details

Features

  • PaceSetter Headers are custom-engineered for racetrack performance and sound in your vehicle
  • Forged from mandrel-bent 16-gauge mild steel tubing with your choice of protective finishes:
  • Black paint (standard): Double-layered protective black paint is cured to a smooth finish. The paint provides solid protection against corrosion during the storage of PaceSetter Headers.
  • Armor*Coat: PaceSetter's exclusive Armor*Coat process utilizes two layers of metallic-ceramic protection that's cured at a searing 2000°F. It won't discolor like paint, chrome or dull coatings, and keeps under-hood temperatures lower.
  • PaceSetter Headers boast substantially higher flow than inefficient stock exhaust manifolds
  • CNC-machined thick steel flanges with milled surfaces ensure a proper fit and the best seal
  • PaceSetter Headers come equipped with positions for all factory sensors
  • Connects without hassle to the stock Y-pipe on most models
  • PaceSetter Headers are designed with easy bolt-on installation in mind for most models (some vehicles require welding or fabrication, select vehicle above for details)
  • Includes detailed step-by-step instructions and custom-machined gaskets; utilizes stock header bolts
  • PaceSetter Headers are available in 50-state smog legal and off-road/racing only models (select vehicle above for specific availability)
  • Made right here in the USA
  • Your PaceSetter Headers are backed by a 3-year warranty

Description

Saddle-up some PaceSetter Headers—they’ve been cranking out high-end European performance right here in the USA for decades. That’s how they earned the black stallion as their enduring logo.

Stock headers are inherently inefficient. That’s why PaceSetter Headers are specifically engineered for more free flow that cultivates power, boosts looks and retards under-hood temperatures. The transformation for your vehicle is immediately noticeable.

PaceSetter Headers are clearly different from competing performance parts. Each uses 16-gauge mandrel-bent mild steel with thicker flanges for a leak-free fit. Your choice of protective coatings completes the impressive package: black paint or PaceSetter Headers’ exclusive Armor*Coat.

For straightforward installation, PaceSetter Headers bolt into place using the included gaskets and the original hardware. And, your PaceSetter Headers carry a 3-year warranty. Isn’t it time your vehicle set the pace?

This header was the answer to a lot of problems. I installed a Weber DGV on my MGB. I needed headers to install the new intake manifold. With the Weber kit and this header all my vacuum problems were gone. Very easy to install with no special tools or welding. Simple cut existing exhaust to correct length and bolt on. Heavy duty.

zinstalled pretty eazy.. has holes for air pipe that comes from intake manif. which was really nice... paint burned off quick, and for $200. they should have been coated or painted better but Not realy that biga deal,I have the 22RE, the horsepower gain was minimal but noticable, sounds good too. Happy with my purchace. I really wish they would make these headers for the toyota V6 3rz (89-95) there are a lot of my costumers who would love headers for there rig but are hard to find unless u pay over a grand.. and thats BS for just a set of headers.

Super fast shipping and a great price. Installation wasn't so great I had to trim away part of the intake manifold so the header would bolt up. The other problems I had was with the washers, they had steps on them because the header is thinner than the intake manifold. It would be nice if they were the same thickness with that being said everything else bolted up great, I also had a noticeable increase in power and gas mileage. Thanks AutoAnything, Chris

I did a lot of research before buying this header for my 89 cherokee. It wasn't a popular choice but really the only bolt on option for my renix 4.0. Instead of modifying a HO header to work I decided to give it a shot. Pros: Everything fit together nicely, common complaint is the y-pipe doesn't fit the header All parts for installation are included Quality met my expectations Material thickness Cons: Provided gasket is garbage I hate the u-bolt style clamps provided for assembly, I'll be welding everything or using a band style exhaust clamps that wont smash the exhaust tube Unless you pay extra for the ceramic coated header the paint will bake off in the first heat cycle, then be exposed to the elements (To be expected, unless you pay extra) before installation I'll removing factory paint and coating it my self in some type of header paint

I definitely notice the Horse power and even some torque gains as well, the headers look amazing prior to being armor coated..The only issue I had was that the headers wasn't direct fit so therefore it require cutting and welding in order to install it correctly, but overall good quality. The price is decent compare to $600.00 and $700.00 for the other brands.

Very good value, the only complaint is the gaskets. Don't even bother trying to use them, you're wasting your time.
