I knew what I was getting as this is the third set of shorties I've put on a GM vehicle. This is the first set of Gibson's though. They make a nice solid product. I could immediately feel the increase in hp and torque. Install went well. My one knock is the instructions say to reuse the factory flange gaskets. That sounded like a bad idea, so I called Gison to verify and they said to replace them if over 100k miles. Just buy new ones anyways at any auto parts store for $7 a piece.

These headers instantly provided more HP and gas mileage. If you are on the fence about purchasing headers, you shouldn't be, these headers are exactly what I was hoping for. I've purchased a cold air intake, gibson dual exhaust and superchips power programmer over the past years. The headers provided the most noticeable HP and MPG gains. Only issue was the lack of detailed instructions when removing exhaust manifolds. Additional tools required, O2 sensor removal required and not mentioned.

Only had header on my Jeep about a week, but so far seems to be quitter than the old one I replaced that was cracked. I didn't notice any difference in performance. Install was pretty much straight forward, only had a problem with one bolt on the bottom middle. The first gasket shipped with Header was loose in box and arrived bent couldn't be used, had to wait for another one to be shipped, I feel packaging could have been better.

Easy install, look good, chevy issues, one cat flange bolt had to be cut off, if it wasn't for that install was less than 4 hours. Lined up easy once Cat was disconnected from aftermarket exhaust then lined up perfect.

I finally noticed a crack in my exhaust manifold so I figured i would replace it with a performance header. It was a very easy install, insructions were good, and everything fit perfectly. I used the supplied gasket and so far no leaks- it's been a week. I was hoping for a little more sound, but the sound is more full. Performance wise, the throttle seems more responsive and there definately is more power when pulling up hills at highway speeds. So far, i am happy with this header.

Great headers, but, use the factory studs in the 2 middle holes, especially on the drivers side! There is one section you can't get your hand in to start the bolt. Gibson should supply at least 4 studs with nuts for ease of installation!! In addition, they say to use copper silicone with install but you don't need it, the gaskets are good ones!!
