Description

Scrap that performance-choking factory exhaust and let your rig breathe fire with an MBRP Diesel Exhaust system. Fine-tuned for your specific vehicle, MBRP Diesel Exhaust kits are crafted from ultra-smooth mandrel-bent tubing for a massive blast of free-flowing power.

Once your oil-burner‘s breathing free with MBRP, expect power gains of up to 25hp and torque increases of up to 53 ft-lbs. Thanks to this added efficiency, your fuel mileage may increase, too—if you can keep your foot off the floor! And, since MBRP keeps the EGTs in the safety zone, this wicked power doesn’t come at a price.

With 3 powerful kits for most rigs—Pro Series, XP Series and Installer Series—and a wide range of configurations, MBRP designs a kit to meet all your custom needs. Whether it’s stainless or aluminized steel, street-legal or drag-strip ready, single or dual exit, MBRP’s Diesel Exhaust Systems deliver the power and performance you and your rig crave.

Notes

  • T-304 stainless steel: high chromium and nickel content; the most corrosion-resistant material in the industry.
  • T-409 stainless steel: high-grade low carbon steel; excellent corrosion resistance and strength.
  • Aluminized steel: high-quality 16-guage steel; aluminized to resist corrosion, the most cost-effective alternative

"Great product at a great price. Instructions and product could have showed a little more detail for exactly the direction of airflow thru the muffler. I personaly did not have a problem but I could see based on the instructions and no markings on the muffler that some could get it wrong. Otherwise, a great bolt on product."

"Exhaust increased mpg about 2mpg from 18 to 20 @ 62mph thru hilly country. Slight glass pack sound @ idle, increased turbo whine both enjoyable with people turning heads. Increased speed & lower ET thru 1/4 mile. Lower EGT when pulling gooseneck trailer & loader tractor. "A little leary when exhaust system arrived --- no Muffler!! Removed the stock exhaust without cutting it, thinking the MBRP would be too noisy and I would have to reinstall the stock system. It took 15 minutes to install the new MBRP exhaust (one hour to remove the stock exhaust) and fired it up, thinking it would really be too loud. What a pleasent suprise!! The MBSP system was only slightly louder than stock and was very pleasent in the cabin. The milage has improved, however, the real test will be late this month when I tow my 38' 5th wheel to Kentucky. So far, the MBSP system has a 5/5 rating"

"I researched a new exhaust on several websites, most notably ford-trucks.com. The MBRP consistently was rated the best value in aftermarket exhaust. Only slight issue I ran into is that the fit on my Excursion is tight near the fuel tank; needed a couple of adjustments to quit clanking."

"i just put a single 5" turbo back on my 05 dodge ram 3500 diesel. installation is definitely a 2 person job, but i did it by myself anyways. directions were very clear and it was fairly easy to put in. it was harder to remove the stock one that install the new one. now my truck has an awesome rumble to it and is the loudest one around!"

"Installed on my 03 Dodge Ram 2500. I have a short bed which meant cutting 18" off of one of the pipes. Other than that, everything fit nicely and all the hangers lined up. Not too loud, just the right amount of rumble without the annoying drone. I already had a programmer installed, so I didn't notice much increase in power. The biggest surprise was mileage. I usually average 16MPG per tank with mixed driving. I’m now getting 19MPG! Not bad for a 3/4 ton truck with a 6" lift and 37" mud tires!"

"Purchased the MBRP exhaust for my F-250 7.3L diesel. Took it to a muffler shop for install. I am glad I did - took two men, two hours. Looked great on the truck upon installation. Noticed quicker accelerations right away. Towed my 5er that weekend over hot hilly terrain. Expected improved gas mileage but ended up losing 3 mpg. Hoping it was due to AC and hills. Time will tell. DP chip is next to garner real gains."

"It has been quite a few years since I have installed an exhaust system myself, but this system was easy to install. It took longer to remove the rusted out factory system than it did to install the MBRP system. The only issue I had was reconnecting the "V" band clamp. You may need an extra hand for that part. All parts lined up perfectly with the existing mounts. If I could make a change I would have purchased the 5 inch system. The 4 inch does have a nice rumble. Rus B."

"I installed my mbrp exhaust system on my 2007 Dodge Cummins 6.7 liter. Direct bolt on behind particulate filter .I noticed immediately a better turbo spool up and better throttle responce at highway speeds. Not sure of fuel economy yet. With no factory muffler I was concerned that it would be to loud, noticed very little difference in loudness."

"The directions were clear and the installation was easy. It took only about 30 minutes with hand tools. I don't know that there will be much actual performance/mileage improvement as the factory exhaust is already 4" and the muffler is straight through design. Only real differences are mandrel bends, the elimination of the factory muffler, and the polished tip."
