"Aluminized 4" pipe from tubro back. Came w/ HG6100 hanger required from my truck and a shiny tip. Sounds nice. A bit loud from outside, but nice inside. Took about 3 weeks to be delivered. No instructions for the HG6100 hanger. Assume you have to drill the frame. we tacked the hanger w/ a couple of welds. Good clearance for 235/85/16 spare tire."

"Hardest thing was removal of old muffler and tailpipe. Had to rebend the muffler clamp. Would help if cut-off dimensions could included for all configurations.Sounds great."

"MBRP 4in turbo back xp series on my 99 F250 was the choice for me and I absolutly love it. The exaust opened up air flow and made a world of difference in spooling up as well as increased the mpg. It rocks i love it and would recomend it to any 7.3 and it was a brease to install!!!"

"MBRP systems are easy to install for the truck owner, a few cuts on then old exhaust and some in about an hour or so its all back to new. they looked good, sound great and are at a price that I can afford, especially at these hard times the country is in. THANKS, Matt"

"I would reccomend this product to anyone with a ford diesel. I got the 5 inch turbo back straight pipe with a 6 inch tip and no cat. I also put an aem brute force cold air intake on at the same time and a bully dog power pup programmer. My throttle response and gas mileage went through the roof. The only thing I would reccomend is getting a sawzall if you don't already have one, you can go to lowes and pick one up for about 60 bucks."

"I installed the MBRP Diesel Exhaust Systems XP on my 07 Grand Cherokee (WK). It took less than an hour. Looks good. Sounds better. And I've noticed less lag from a standing start."

"The exhaust system was exactly what it said it was. The hardest part of the installation was removing the existing exhaust hangers. All in all it took about 1 1/2 hours for my son-in-law and me to remove the old and install the new. It fit perfect! My 1998 cummins has a very nice growl now."

"I bought this system because I heard it was the best exhaust system for the modern turbo-charged diesels. I am absolutely pleased with my purchase. When complemented with a cold air intake, the power gains were substantial and at low, medium, and high RPM's. I really love the quick turbo spool-up with the low backpressure and high air flow the MBRP exhaust system provides. I thought about buying the turbo-back system, but I wanted to be a law abiding citizen and keep my ride street legal; but don't let the catback system fool you....the performance gains were incredible. Virtually no annoying "drone"...just an aggressive, yet civil tone, and massive air flow! Thanks autoanything!!!"

"Installation was a breeze even with one guy laying in the drive way. The hardest part was getting the old exhaust off. I tried keeping it whole but ending up cutting it into two pieces. Sounds great, not too much louder than stock under normal driving conditions, it barks when you stand on it."

"This installation went very good on my pickup, (about 2 1/2 Hrs.), but went even easier on my friends pickup, (about 1 1/2 Hrs). If you aren't going to save any of your old exhaust, which neither of us did, take a sawzall and cut in front of the trans mount, in front of the muffler, and behind the muffler. Take the old system out. The toughest part is getting the clamp loose from the turbo.Loosen the turbo clamp from the top. Take a 3ft. crowbar in from the bottom, line up on the edge of the clamp with the angled end of the crowbar and give it a whack with a hammer. It will start the clamp loose and you can finish pulling it from the top. Pull your OEM rubber mounts, spray with WD-40 or use soap and re-install the new system. I really like these KISS projects! (Keep it simple stupid) The system sounds great when you're done."

"Installed in three hours including clean up. Fit together quite nice. Hardest part is getting old system off. Use a sawsall and cut to short lengths to make removal easy."

"The sound isn't any different but the power is noticable. Easy to put on, took about 1 hour total install, the clamps they provide don't tighten enough so I had to tack weld the exhaust. Overall nice wish it had a little more noise. Also nice tips."

"The exhaust shipped quickly and looked great. All parts fit nicely. All paperwork stated that exhaust would ship with band clamps and it came with saddle clamps but they worked great. Install was simple with the exception of the removal of the stock exhaust. I didn't have a lift and my sawzall came in very handy. I had to cut the exhaust in two spots for removal. Recommend this exhaust to anyone looking for a clean look and great sound. It dropped my EGTs down 200+ degrees."

304 offroad a lie

"i ordered a 304 offroad system only to find out when i had it installed that MBRP no longer makes a 304 offroad kit, but continues to call it an offroad kit anyways. The installer had to put my factory cat back in so i could take it home. MBRP also no longer makes the 304 pipe to fit in its place, so after spending $1200 on a 304 system, i had to buy a 409 pipe so i could actually delete the cat. The "COOL DUELS" also dont match up perfect on either side of the truck, not a major problem but for the money it should be perfect. The installer said the kit was miserable to install and had to cut more then just the one pipe to get it to fit. Although the system does sound very good now that it is installed i would not recomend it to anyone."

"After receiving the exhaust I noticed that the part of the exhaust that goes over the rear axel was bent in where the muffler delete conects into, which I know was from done during delivery. I also had thought from the picture on the website that the exhaust came with another muffler to replace the one I was taking off but it didnt. The install was very simple, it took me about an hour and a half by myself in my driveway. The exhaust looks great but with the new emission controls for the new diesels the dpf completely kills the sound. Anyone looking for that sound found on the earlier year powerstrokes will have to get a dpf delete pipe as well as the sct livewire programmer which total costs over a grand. Overall the exhaust looks mean, but it pretty much acts as a glorified muffler."

"Great product at a great price. Instructions and product could have showed a little more detail for exactly the direction of airflow thru the muffler. I personaly did not have a problem but I could see based on the instructions and no markings on the muffler that some could get it wrong. Otherwise, a great bolt on product."
