Description

Ditch your tired, restrictive, inefficient stock exhaust manifold and let your engine breathe freely with performance headers. JBA Cat4ward Headers unlock your motor's power potential for unrestricted, white-knuckle performance gains.

The Achilles heel for engine performance is the exhaust. With JBA Headers, you get a boost of up to 10-25 tire-turning horses out of your motor. The steel tubing is mandrel-bent with extra-large exhaust ports and a leak-free, laser-cut 3/8" thick flange for fast exhaust flow.

You also get JBA's patented Firecone merge collector (depends on model), which quickly moves spent gasses out through your tailpipe. JBA exhaust headers let your engine breath easier, giving you more power, torque and throttle response.

All mounting hardware is included for a do-it-yourself install that doesn't void your factory warranty. 4 finishes to choose from. Of course, your JBA Headers come with a 1-year warranty.

Notes

  • Some vehicles will require an additional down-pipe (either a Y- or H-pipe) for the installation.

Wow...finished in the titanium ceramic coating, these headers really free up the motor exhaust flow. The stock manifolds from Dodge are ridiculously restrictive. You can tell the motor runs more easily and eco mode engages and stays engaged for longer than before. I can actually gain some speed in eco mode! Highly recommended!

Great product with great design. Everything bolts right up with no modifications. I didn't have any trouble with the gaskets at all. I will say that the installation leaves much to be desired. The directions provided omit a lot of important steps. I spent 9 hours working with a machanic to put them on. The directions don't tell you that you need to remove the motor mounts in order to reach two bolts on either side of the engine. Also the torque recommended is way too light. That is probly why everyone is having trouble with the gaskets. It worked better to just tighten everything as tight as you can with a wrench or ratchet. Just make sure you tighten them in an even pattern. Overall, it is not too bad if your fully prepared.

Be prepared to spend 8 plus hours. You will need to take starter off, unbolt a/c comp to move forward out of way in order to get to all bolts on passenger side. You will also need to lift up engine up 1-2" to get header in the passenger side. Place block wood on front oil pan and lift with floor jack. Good mid-high range power. Drivers side is a breeze. Headers came in two days. Took a bit longer to install than anticipated. I had to weld the egr hole closed because my 2002 ranger is not equipped with an egr sensor. Cold air intake, throttle body spacer, throttle body, performance chip, and exhaust are working together much better now. No more lag on the freeway or bogging up hills..
