"The system came quickly and it was easy enough to install. I didn't have to cut the old system off as per directions. I think that due to the fact I had the truck up on 1ft. high ramps. I do have a suggestion for the manufacture of the exhaust system. Either extend the pipes from the muffler at least 1" on each end or make the exhaust pipes connecting to the muffler at least 1" longer so that the hanger at the rear tail pipe will line up with the stock hanger. This will omit the need for the rear clamp with the hanger pin welded to it. A cleaner looking job will result.This is not a problem if the system is welded at a muffler shop (Which I had done) because they were able to slide the pipe back far enough to line it up with the hanger and weld the pipes together, omitting the clamps. It looks factory and neat. Nice throaty sound but not too loud. Don't know if MPG increased yet because I haven't filled up since installation. Overall satisified and good value for the system."

"YOU CAN DEFINITELY FEEL THE INCREASED TORQUE. BUT THERE'S AN ANNOYING DRONE IN THE LOWER RPM, ESPECIALLY WHEN GOING UPHILL. OTHER THAN THAT IT'S A GOOD EXHAUST SYSTEM."

"Installed along with JBA Headers. Sound is great. Installation for the exhaust was very simple. Can't say the same for the headers, but I worked through it. Exhaust has a very tight fit and feels very secure. Didn't get any tack welds afterwards, but I guess time will tell if I need the additional welds. Don't notice to much of a difference idling, but once you step on it, you can really tell the difference. Not too loud, but you could still hear it while driving on the highway. Recommend Highly"

Probably Not the Right One For Me

"When I got home the boxes were on the porch. I had ordered an intake as well as the exhaust. First thing that I noticed was that the exhaust box was partially ripped open at one end. When I checked the parts list I was relieved to see that all of the parts were still in the box but the forward end of one of the tail sections of pipe had been mildly crushed so as to take it out of round. Another thing that I noticed was that one of the mufflers was sort of twisted and the other seemed to lay flat. The tolerances were tight, very nice, but it did make it a little harder to install in such tight spaces. When installation was complete I started the car and was very happy with the sound, deep, throaty, a little louder...nice! Now that I have driven it for a few days, I realized that I may have made a mistake. Though the power increase was instantly noticed, I probably should have bought something a little more muffled. At about 1500-1700 rpm's the droan is almost tooth rattling, so much so that it almost hurts to stay at that rpm range. Driving with the windows down seems to work but that's no good for the upcoming cold weather and ensuing rain. I guess I will either buy something that is a little more quiet inside the car or buy a boatload of dynamat. Other than the droan...I LOVE IT!!!! It finally sounds like it looks...MEAN!!!"

"You won't find a better price on a stainless performance exhaust for your Chevy/GMC truck. Perfect fit and great sound. Quality is good with the exception of the welds at the inlet/outlet pipes of muffler(not a defect, poor in appearance only). Rolled tip is a nice touch."

"I found the system to be very well made and easy to put together. I had a professional muffler shop put it in for $60 bucks and 15 minutes later, I had a good sound and fair performance. I need to reprogram the computer because I can tell by the sound and shifting times that the ram truck needs tweeking. A dyno test would tell me how much change has been made. I would recommend this system just for the sound."

"I have a 2004 4.0L edge ranger with a K&N cold air intake, and this exhaust really opened it up, I have a super chips on order so i hope it opens in up even more. The exhaust was really easy to install except that I had to drill the mid pipe holes cause they didn't fit the stock bolts to connect to my stock pipe, no big deal just took 5 extra minutes!!!"

"i had jba headers installed in 99 tacoma & now with this jba exhaust its a perfect set up..noise in the cabin is not annoying.no drone....under acceleration its sounds really good...i would recomended to all tacoma owners!!! BEST EXHAUST SYSTEM AND PRICE IS FANTASTIC......"

"After alot of research I decided to go with the JBA exhaust system. I was looking for an exhaust that would unleash the sound of the Titan but also keep it fairly quiet in the cab, and does just that. It feels a little more powerful and it sounds fantastic when you get into the throttle. So for performance and sound I give the JBA a 10. I was however disappointed when I opened the box and saw the quality of the finished product. The piping and the tail piece looked good but I wasn't happy at all with the muffler. They didn't brush the welds and the finished product didn't look anything even close to the picture. They should give you what is advertised and not something that looks like it was fabricated at a vocational welding school. I should have sent this back but after thinking it through I decided to install the system. I'm very pleased with the sound but JBA needs to improve the quality of their finished product."

"Installation instructions were easy to follow. Install of exhaust was complete in about an hour. If you live in a cold weather climate like I do be prepared with plenty of penetrating oil, a torch, air hammer, for the removal of the old cat back piping. Could have used some new catalytic converter stud nuts, three of my old ones just crumbled away, there was only one good fastener left on the cat studs."

"I have recently made this purchase.. Autoanything was fast and a heck of a lot cheaper then anywere else. This kit sounds absolutly amazing at idle and aggressive when accelerating but will not annoy the girlfriend on those long trips to wherever she wants to go while you drive and she sleeps... This is one hell of a system and everyone I mean EVERYONE should OWN one of these!!!!!!!! A++++++++++!!"

"So I just got back from my initial test drive... Pros: -Is a VERY nice high quality system. -If you do not want a real loud system this one is good. It has a nice 'growl' while accelerating-but once you level off you R's, it is not as loud (what I wanted). - Came packed very well-everything was in perfect shape. Con: -Instructions and system called for 2.5" clamps-kit included 2.25"--off to the parts store. General info: -Decided to do the install myself, local shop wanted $100-. Not a lot of fun in a garage-on jack stands. But I did get done. Will probably have to go somewhere with a lift to have the pass side adjusted-the tailpipe will just not line up 100% (the Drv side went on 'perfectly'). All in all-it is very good system. Got mine for just over $400 (price match)."

"JBA came through on this exhaust, quiet so far, but a nice rumble on full throttle and at idle on my ranger with a 3.0 liter. The only issues I have with it is the exhaust tubing is aluminized steel and not stainless (which is only the casing on the muffler and the tip) and the tailpipe is too long and hitting my hitch. However I am glad to not have my ears bleeding from driving my truck."

"Old out, new in-Less than 2 hours. Looks great and sounds great. Delivered on time by AA. I would get better gas milage, but I can't keep my foot out of it because it sounds so good."

"Overall, I am impressed with the JBA Exhaust for my Tacoma. I had far more trouble getting the old exhaust off (original from 2000) then I had getting the JBA installed. The two things I needed to get on my own were: - nuts and bolts for the coupler between cat and jba pipe - nuts for the o2 sensor connection - gasket for use between cat and jba pipe The exhaust sounds fairly good, though there is a light resonance between 1800-2500 rpm, but at idle its fairly quiet, and opens up sound wise as you increase the rpms."

"This was my first Autoanything purchase. Shipping was prompt and the exhaust arrived in excellent condition with all parts and instructions. Installation was simple (once the rusted bolts on the stock system were removed!). Went on easy. Excellent fit and finish. Nice smooth bends in the pipes. Nicely polished exhaust outlet. And it sounds great!! And about a 1mpg improvement. The only downside is more drone/cab noise at about 1600rpm. The stock system droned, too, but, at that specific rpm - the jba is significantly louder."

"It sounds good to me maybe a little to loud for some people. You can hear it in the car and when you get on it so do the neighbors. The fit was pretty good except near the rear end. It's a little tight there. Quality is good. I would buy again."

"Good Quality cat back at a very reasonable price. Two minor problems. Front of xpipe was too large for stock cat pipes. Had to make cuts in xpipe and really twist town on clamps to get pipe to stay in position. Large loop clamps provided to connect front of xpipe too large. Had to borrow car and go out to find smaller clamps."

"Very pleased with this exhaust, fairly easy install. Took longer to remove stock exhaust ( studs at downpipe sheares off!). Nice rumble, quiet when off throttle...nice and throaty when on the gas, similar to early 90's 5.0 mustang in tone. Overall quality is excellent. Fast shipment, even to Alaska."
