For well more than a decade now, DC Sports has been the name synonymous with sport compact race performance. This reputation of speed and power began with their expertly-crafted headers, which DC Sports dyno-tests to ensure a performance gain unmatched on the market.
Great care is taken in crafting a DC header. All pipes are mandrel-bent to an exact shape for virtually unrestricted flow. Their 3/8" CNC machined flanges and O-rings ensure a factory-like fit that won't leak. And, the robotic MIG welding assures the durability of DC headers.
For the performance that best meets your driving needs, DC Sports Headers come in 4 header styles: 4-2-1 two-piece models for easier mounting, lighter 4-2-1 one-piece models, 3 into 1 models for V6 engines, and 4 into 1 race-inspired models boasting extreme top-end power.
Each DC Header is available in polished or brushed stainless or ceramic-coated mild steel finishes. And, your DC Sports Headers carry a 1-year warranty.
Thanks to the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act: US Code – Title 15, Chapter 50, Sections 2301-2312, your vehicle’s factory warranty is protected by law when you add aftermarket parts. Details

These headers are great. The only thing that was bad was that I did not receive the crush gasket for the install. So I could hear that I had a huge exhaust leak after the install of the headers. Otherwise, it is a great product and would recommend it to anyone looking to increase hp and exhaust flow.

The hardest part about the installation was getting the old one off, thank you new england..the fitment was nice and tight and exact. sound cool, pull noticeably higher on the highway in the mid rpms. quality built and look great. slightly pricey, but they can do that for a near perfect product. because of my civic prob wouldve been easier just with 4-1 header, but it still fit superb

They fitment was amazing and were fairly easy to install considering they're headers for a tightly packed g35. The quality was amazing from the overall piping, flanges, o2 bungs and welds. Flawless and flowed perfectly with the rest of the exhaust.

The headers were generally easily installed, but the four bolts on the catalytic converter were a pain to remove and became very stripped. A tip for those if this happens to you, Sears has for $30 a damaged bolt remover that worked like a charm! Overall a great product. It sounds great with my Injen SRI and Helix TBS. Lots of power gains and about 20 more miles per tank of gas.

great quality, welds look good and the finish is shiny. My son and i installed the header with just floorjack and jackstands.the header fits perfectly, all hangers line up and all hardware was there. the header lined up just right with my dc sports catback exhaust and bolted up with no problems.o2 sensors lined up and fit in the header bungs no modifications needed.sound was awesome power and torque are very noticeable.auto anything price was right and delievry was prompt.

The header was a fairly easy and straightforward installation. The instructions were very helpful, however they didn't mention you'd need a special wrench to remove the O2 sensor. I can feel a little bit more OOMPH from the new part, and I hear a deeper roar from the engine from ~2500 to 5500 rpms. recommend this part for anyone with a 4 cyl Accord, definitely an excellent buy!

Anybody knows if the header for 240 sx 4-2-1 one-piece as pictured here, has been approved for being street legal? or still C.A.R.B. pending?
Answered by Nathan S. — May 10, 2012 8:26 AM 1991 Nissan 240SX
CARB certification testing is the deciding factor for legality in California and other states which have adopted CARB standards. Under the first rule of catalytic converter replacement set in place by the EPA, the catalytic converter must be installed in the same location as the original. Even a 1/4" movement of emissions equipment from their factory position is legally enough of a reason for a product to fail a smog inspection as the catalytic converter is now out of its factory location.flag Accept Answer

Being a long tube header, I would expect it will remain as a "race only" application due to the catalytic converter being away from the factory position.flag Accept Answer

whats the difference between the race headers and the non race headers ?
Answered by Nathan S. — May 10, 2012 8:00 AM 2009 Honda Civic
Its less of a contrary point and more of a clarification, so thank you for giving me a chance to explain in more detail. Although it is a longtube (tri-y to be precise) header and retains the factory catalytic converter postion, the product still has not undergone CARB certification testing making it illegal for use in states which have adopted California's standards unless its for offroad purposes. There are many parts that will pass by performance standards, and a highly modified race motor can pass as well with a lot of effort and the right tune as long as the factory emissions levels for that application can be met on the smog dyno. Most smog technicians are very keen eyed and will be very suspicious if they see aftermarket parts, especially exhaust components. If you have a CARB E.O sticker for an aftermarket engine component, make sure its prominently displayed for the smog tech to see, otherwise your vehicle may fail the test.flag Accept Answer
