"Exhaust installed easy, and looks and sounds good. Not too loud, but a nice throaty tone. I wish the exhaust came straight out from under the vehicle, instead of using a chrome tip."

"Bought a "performance exhaust" for a low rumble exhaust sound. Not a bad system, but only a bit louder than a factory exhaust (disappointed)."

Gives my Liberty a whole new attitude...

"Overall, I am very pleased with this product for my 2002 Jeep Liberty, however I did have a few issues. First the product I received does have the "Doug Thorley" brand name on it or on any of the documentation, I had to do some research to find out the Jardine product I received and Doug Thorley are one in the same. The only other problem I had was that the fit was a little tight, I had to modify my bumper cover to make the new tip fit and I had to trim a hanger to eliminate a vibration. But now it’s on and paired with a AEM Brute Force cold air intake I am very happy with the new look, sound and performance of my Jeep. This is my Second purchase from AutoAnything.com and I will buy again."

Easy Install, Great Value

"Got this because someone cut out my cat and I decided to replace the whole system. Matched it with an Eastern Catalytic Converter and I am very happy. The exhaust installed so easily I couldnt believe I thought about paying somebody to do it. The Catalytic Converter was another story.... It is fairly loud in and out but its not "ricer" sounding, its quality and I enjoy it. Definitely louder than stock and might not be the best fit unless you want the added noise. I am very pleased with this purchase! I noticed that after I bought it, they jacked up the price. However, I would still buy it at this price compared to twice as much for competitive brands."

Pretty happy with the purchase

"It is very quiet, yet seems not to have lost any power over the noisy Midas Ravin system it replaced. Installation was easy, once I got the old system out. Nice mandrel bemds and nice chrome tip. Hangers line up perfectly, but the rip hangs a little lower than I'd like. I'll probably modify it to bring it up closer to the body. They should state somewhere that Doug Thorley and Jardine are one and the same. The box didn't say Doug Thorley anywhere on it, and I thought it was a mistake. I also didn't find any fine print or warranty info other than the "Lifetime guarantee" listed on this site. I did call to verify this, but We'll see if I have a fight in a few years if it starts rusting."

Good Exhaust System

"As mentioned in earlier reviews, the system is simple to install and sounds good, but it would be nice if the gasket from the catalytic converter was included. Also, on my 95 Toyota X-cab, the flared tip was a little loud. I picked up a chrome tip along with a gasket. PROBLEM SOLVED!! Overall, I would recommend the system."

98 Tacoma 4x4 standard cab

"The system was really easy to install, about an hour and a half. It sounds good, not to loud, but definitely noticeable. I do not know if it helped power or gas mileage, but I am very happy with it. I will probably get one for my 90 Toyota truck. The only problem I had was with the gasket. I was prepared for that after reading other reviews before I made the purchase. Like the other reviews, I went to the local parts store and got a gasket and it worked fine."

"The system went on fairly easy and it sounds good, however I was disappointed by the pipe fitting inside the muffler outlet and the clamp on chrome tip that we had to tack weld on. Poor design for such an icon in the industry."

"My exhaust was a little harder to put on because thorley had to send me a new flange to bolt to converter,once I cut old one off everything fit great,good sound I'LL USE THEM AGAIN."

Jardine exhaust for Toyota T100

"I've replaced quite a few exhausts over the last 15 years and this was by far the easiest install ever. The fit and finish was perfect, the hangers matched up perfectly, just like factory exhaust. I had the old rusted exhaust off and the new one on in 45 minutes. It's louder than I expected, but a real deep tone for 3.4 V6. If you don't want any cabin noise, don't but this, there is some."

"i was alittle hesitant to try your brand. i was going to use a gibson but i went with you after readin a few reviews. the exhaust attached to my jeep really smoothly and had no problems. the rumble is really deep and throaty which im impressed with. 6 cylinders never sounded so good"

"We made exhaust perfect Fit. Louder then what I expected but sounds nice it. Must jsut be the way the 4runner is shaped making the exhaust sound louder inside the truck then outside. If you have a 3 gen 4runner with the single cat get a Fel-Pro 60309 cat gasket it will seal much better then the one jardine provides."

"Fit and finish are outstanding. This system fits perfectly and is very easy to install. You will need to buy the stock gasket at the back of the cat because the gasket supplied will not seal correctly. (leaks at the bolt holes) Other than that, everything is supplied in the box. Nice throaty sound but louder than I expected. Ya can't beat it for the money!"

Loud and low

"I replaced my stock exhaust on a 2004 GMC Envoy XUV and the fit was excellent as was the the bulid quality. It must have shaved at least 25 lbs. off the stock system. The acceleration is a little better. I haven't tracked the gas milage yet. But one thing I can say is it's definitely louder and lower. The Envoy sounded like a minivan stock but now it sounds pretty mean. It's tuned very low and I must admit I have to turn up the stereo a little more than I use to. But overall it's just what the vehicle needed in the looks, with the very nice chrome tip, and sound department."

doug Thorley single exhaust for tacoma reg cab

"I put this exhaust on my 1999 tacoma and its great.It sounds good and it defenitly added a couple of horses. The only problem i had was they didnt give you the right gasket that connects from the converter and the head pipe.My recomandation is go to your local parts store and buy the replacement one for a stock system(thats what worked for me) otherwise the exhaust is great!"

"Eventhough the description said it fit the access cab model of my truck, it fit perfectly on my regular cab/long bed. Had it welded up in less than an hour. Could have clamped it on in 15 minutes. Sounds great after I chucked the shiny megaphone they wanted me to put on the end of it."

"The purchase transaction, and delivery were just great. I had the old off and the new on in under two hours, (I do have a few more tools than the minimum required). I definately saw a strong performance improvment without a lot of noise to go with it."
