Had a shop install them. The fuel lines are right on top of the headers, very unsafe. In calling in, your company called pacesetter. They said there should be installation instructions and "heat shield" for the fuel line...neither of which was in the box. The shield is a joke and there is no room to "bend" the fuel line out of the way. These headers should NOT exist for this vehicle as the driver's side is an imminent danger. Now I am stuck with this problem and getting ZERO satisfaction!

Sounds great, looks great, feels great. Awesome price The only downside I found was one of the bolt holes was about 1/4 of an inch off buy fixed the problem by drilling it out and putting a washer over it. 2005 5.7L hemi ram 1500 4x4

Be ready to completely redo your exhaust with these bad boys!! They are great and add a huge amount of RWHP. Must tune vehicle after installation. I would only say that a better black powdercoat should be applied as the coating on the black ones smokes really bad. Once coated with a high temp coating I would give 5 stars!!!Thanks AUTOANYTHINg

Had to retune my car to delete the rear O2 sensors, but once I got going, these things rocked. I had better gas mileage, better throttle response, and (what felt like) a little more under the hood. I would definitely recommend getting the black ones and painting them with some VHT before using. Be sure to cure the paint the way it says on the label.

what's the part number. some products listed have no part numbers. one more thing.....how can the part images uploaded is not the right one for the said part?? thats fishy !! don't tell me that u guys could not get the correct pictures of the parts sold here.....coz no one wants to receive a wrong part specially if the customer is half way across the world like me!
Answered by Nathan S. — Mar 11, 2013 11:19 AM
Hi, Select your engine and the header finish for the part number to list under where is says, "Free Shipping". Surprisingly, many vendors don't take pictures of their full product lineup or copy-write images for their use only. That's why we use "sample image" or "No images available". All of our products come directly from the manufacturer to your doorstep (drop shipped to save you $$$ ) so we usually don't have the products in-hand to take our own photos either. Rest assured, what we list is exactly the same product that PaceSetter offers and when we do have product images for the exact part, we load them. Check out our reviews down below for a better idea of what to expect from us.

What exactly does CARB stand for, and why are they so strict?
Answered by Elizabeth C. — Jul 06, 2012 12:25 PM
It stands for California Air Resources Board. Many years ago, California was dealing with so much vehicle-generated pollution, that they decided to set guidelines for emissions. It has worked so well at abating smog, that many other states are now adopting the standard. Check here for details and a list of states that follow the CARB standard.

why is it only off road use?
Answered by Michael K. — Jan 12, 2012 2:10 PM
Hey Bradley, these are crafted for maximum performance without any restrictions for smog compliance. The headers are not necessarily designed for off roading or 4 wheeling only; the "off road only" message simply means that they are not legal for street use in any state that follows the CARB smog standards.

If I were to get these, do I have to do any rearranging for my catalytic converters or get new mid pipes or change the position of the o2 sensors? Or do they just fit on without doing any of that.
Answered by Jay B. — Dec 15, 2011 7:31 AM 2005 Ford F-150
Pacesetter long tube headers require modifications to retain catalytic converters. Off road mid pipes and or Y-pipes are available to connect to stock system.
