"This muffler produces a great sound. Loud enough to sound cool without being obnoxious. Made my V6 Mustang sound just like a V8! I had a shop do the install so I can't commment on that aspect, but it only took them about 20 mins. I can feel the extra horsepower in the higher rpms--an extra 5 mph per gear (roughly). Haven't noticed a mileage increase yet. All said, a great pipe!"

Not an exact fit...

"After cutting off my old exhaust, I realized that the muffler sent was not an exact fit. On a 1993 F250 w/460 engine, you need a muffler with center inlet and outlet. I was sent a muffler with offset inlet and outlet. Not a big deal, I made it work, it was just a pain. Other than that, the quality is excellent. I immediately noticed a gain in power and increase in mpg. I recommend it to anyone, but if you have an old truck like mine, call them or check the part before you cut the old one off."

"I was impressed overall with the exhaust, but a little dissapointed with the sound, I have had the mufflers before and this one was quiter than I expected but not bad overall"

"We added this system to my son's car and he stated it added some kick and it has a nice little snarl now(over stock) without being obnoxious.It also has a good looking chrome tailpipe.Extremely easy to install-took at the most 1/2 hour."

"The system arrived within a day of ordering it. The toughest part of the install was getting the old system off. Would recommend a sawzall for the old pipes rather than struggle with old tail pipe. Working with another person made the install a breeze. Total job start to finish took less than three hours and that included Cold Air Intake system and Nerf Bars so my daughter could get in and out more easily. The flowmaster sound is subdued when you want it to be and bellows deeply when you need that extra power. Installed with a K&N Cold Air intake to help with the power during towing and fuel economy when not. Haven't had the chance to tow my daughter's 8,000 lb horse trailer yet, but with the increase in throttle response and power just cruising around town, I have to believe towing is going to be much improved. AutoAnything was a breeze to order from and one of the best websites to search for the parts that I needed. Wouldn't think of shopping anywhere else."

"I love the sound of this inexpensive but great quality exhaust system. I had it professionally installed on my Mustang and it has quite a mean sound as well as adds some horsepower. With this 50 series I can have the deep muscle car sound I wanted while not making the neighbors mad!"

"This is my second Cat-back system in 7 years. The other muffler rusted through. This system was spot on. Easy to install, easy to adjust. Took me longer to remove the old system that to install new one. Took about 2 hours, by myself in my shop with the truck on the ground."

""As Advertised", great sound on the outside, and quiet on the inside. Very easy to install on our 2008 F250 Super Duty V-8. Noticable horsepower increase. Probably half the weight of the OEM system, but still very well built, and looks cool too! 2 Clean Lee"

"Every went in real smooth with the exception tail pipe. I had to file the slit where it claps down because it would not clap down tight enough. Great tone which translate that the wife is pleased! I am noticing a gas improvement of 2 additional mpg. I did the install for the mpg improvement and it delivered. I also added Jet Power Control Module but it has not improved the mileage. Thinking of changing axle from 3.73 to 3.08."

"Installation was a breeze, as with everyone else the hardest part of the operation was removing the OEM system. The total time for me was 2 hours. Sounds great, I have not yet checked gas mileage nor power increase but hope to soon. Auto Anything was great the price was right and I received the system in 4 days. Unheard of for me. Thank you Auto Anything I will definately be a repeat buyer."

"Little louder than the Flowmaster on my 2000 F-150, but still rolls down the highway with less than a low rumble with my 2006. Took a trip through the mountains and looked at my average milage and it increased 2.5 MPG (staying out off the pedal/75MPH Cruise). Overall average around town/highway savings looks like 1.5 MPG. Sounds great, good rumble, sounds like a Ford! Paid an additional $45.00 to have seems and tips welded as recommended in instuctions, no big deal."

"I have a few likes and dislikes about this exhaust system. Likes: Very easy to install, and it fit perfectly.The chrome tip is nice and simple, and just the right diameter, not too big. Being painted black isn't as nice as being polished, but it does hide well under the car so the tip stands out. I am not able to get hard evidence, but I think I have noticed a little better performance. It sounds good under hard acceleration, not winey or like a tin-can, like those stupid coffee-can mufflers kids are installing. Dislikes: The black paint had scratches all over the muffler and pipe when I opened the box, and it was packed nicely, so it looks to be scratched from factory. I wish the chrome tip didn't stick out as far as it does, maybe needs to be 2 inches shorter so it tucks up nicely with the bumper. The muffler has a slight drone at faster highway speeds, but not too bad. Im not sure I have been able to get any additional mileage with the system, but I may need more driving time to really tell."

"The instalation took about 3 hrs and went together very nice execpt the tip had to be tacked welded, the clamps work fine except the tip would not tighten firmly to the tail pipe, the sound was not what i wonted a little to low, A 40 series would have been nicer like the one i have on my other trucks and my sons mustang, if i could i would have had a 40 series more hefty sound, ive only droven it one week and see no gas saver , i did see a power increase on my other trucks and as long as i kept my foot out of throttle the gas milage goes up, it would be nice if they would exchange the 50 series for a 40 series i think it would improve my gas milage."

"Quality of the system is excellent. Installation was very easy except that I think one muffler clamp was missing - it was described as "included" in the instructions and it was not in the box. Sound is very mellow, but a bit louder than I expected - stereo has to be cranked up a little more now!"

"Replaced existing Flowmaster. Installation was completed in one evening in my driveway. Usual problem of removing the old bolts but the new exhaust went in without a hitch. Sounds great on the V6."

"Installs fairly easy, nice sound except for when my FJ hits about 2500 RPM(remains until ~2700 RPM), then there is a resonance that gets a little annoying after a few minutes. Any ideas how to fix it would be appreciated."

"Overall I like the Flowmaster Force II. I definitely notice the horsepower increase right about 2300 RPM and higher. Truck definitely sounds mean when you get into the throttle. I like it! I have just as much exhaust flow out each side of the dual exhaust now as I had out the original stock pipe. I drive short distances, so condensation is a problem for me ( the added heat helps dry things out. Great product! I'd buy it again!"

"I bought this system hoping to gain in gass mileage as well as performance. Install was easy to do. I am no mechanic but with a second set of hands things would have been easier but other than that the installationisa breeze. For those of you who don't know this I used PB Blaster to loosen the rusted bolts (Tremendous help). Overall I am very happy with my purchase and still waiting on the gas mileage gains. Initial driving seems to show I will save a gallon or 2 per mile. I would highly recommend flowmaster or autoanything for your car/truck. Shipping is super fast also. Ordered my system Friday and by Monday afternoon had it. Good job autoanything!!"
