Description

Get every pony of the famous Flowmaster Exhaust System experience without the neighbor-waking, music-stifling blare of their loudest pipes. Flowmaster Force II Exhaust Systems are aggressive when your foot's down and mellow at cruise with less interior resonance.

With a Flowmaster Force II Exhaust, you instantly feel a 5% - 10% boost in acceleration and passing power, plus up to a 2 mpg improvement in gas mileage—just like the feel of Flowmaster's renowned American Thunder Systems. The difference is in Flowmaster's quieter chambered muffler that mellows the muscular sound without reducing power.

Adding to the Force II package is a set of mandrel bent pipes custom-formed for your ride, plus all installation hardware, and even a stainless tip for most kits. Mounting it to your vehicle is easy—many systems can be bolted on at home in less than 1 hour. And, your Flowmaster Force II Exhaust System is backed by a 3-year warranty.

Flowmaster Force II F150 Install

Posted on 10/04/2007 by Kurt R. - 2001 Ford F150 (Havertown,PA)

"Very easy to use kit. However, my experience differs from many reviews written. I can't realistically see how this kit could be totally installed in under three hours which differs from some of the reviews I've read. all in all the kit is high quality. the biggest problem I experienced was adjusting the rear exit pipes to be symmetric and look good. also, I upgraded the provided clamps with larger gauge as I had distorted most provided and broken one of the clamps that cmae with the kit."

Sounds Great!

Posted on 09/26/2007 by Carl W. - 2006 Dodge Dakota (Harper Woods,MI)

"I was a little nervous when I purchased my system. I have had the large mufflers on small cars and was afraid it would be too loud. It sounds great in my 06 Dakota with the 3.7. Not loud when cruising, love the sound when it first start up. I've used Flowmaster on Mustangs, its a great exhaust."

Awesome Exhaust System

Posted on 09/21/2007 by Scott P. - 2000 Ford F150 (Hamilton,OH)

"The Flowmaster Force II that I just installed on my F-150 has exactly the low rumble I was hoping for. It sounds great outside the cab, but doesn't overwhelm inside. It only took me about an hour or so to install. Everything lined up perfectly and fit well. I am enjoying it more than I thought I would and couldn't be happier with my puchase. I received shipment in 2 days which was great. Thanks again, Scott Paden"

Good system, touchy install

Posted on 09/12/2007 by Darrell C. - 1996 Ford F150 (Pelham,NH)

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.

"For a 1996 Ford F150 Shortbed: Had to cut another 3-4" of the pipe that extends from the catalytic converter so the exhaust hangers aligned with the hanger grommets, the system was too long. This was not included in the instructions. Other than that all went well. Also a little disappointed that there is not a polished tip included as it is with most of the cometitors product which is a adittional $45 from flowmaster. Sounds good."

New sound for the Chevy

Posted on 09/05/2007 by David D. - 2005 Chevy Silverado (Cordova,TN)

"I installed this on my 05 Chevy1500 crew cab. It was not a direct fit but with a little modification it works just fine. So installation took some time because of the modification I made. With out the mod it would have been maybe just over an hour to get old out and new in. I want signal side exhaust for towing purposes. It sounds good not to loud in the cab at cursing speeds (65-75. Combined with my K&N intake you can fill a better throttle response. As far as mileage goes not sure just yet but I think it is going to help. If you want a lot of sound go with the duals with a 40 series or 50 delta because this gives a deep mellow tone. If I get on my truck the intake tube can be more in the cab than exhaust."

02 Civic EX With other mods

Posted on 08/22/2007 by Dave B. - 2002 Honda Civic (Silver Spring,MD)

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.

"I have an 02 Honda Civic with many other performance mods, and previously had a GReddy EVO2 Full cat back system on which was loud and deep. The flowmaster is very quiet, especially at low rpm's. When you get on it though, it gives a nice deep tone. It is a good comprimise of sound and performance, although for my car, just the axle back piece did not add any notable performance gain. Overall good looks and nice sound if you want something more mellow and easy to install."

Best of Both Worlds

Posted on 07/31/2007 by Robert B. - 2002 Chevy Avalanche (Warren,NJ)

"First of all, my compliments to AutoAnything. Their system price was about $200 less than the buying direct from the manufacturer. I received the system the second day after I ordered it, and that's with free shipping! This system replaces an American Thunder muffler that had been fitted within the stock rear pipes. This system is much quieter during normal driving but gives a nice roar when you get on it. Perfect. The performance improvement is notable, as you would expect with 3 inch pipes all the way through the system. My mechanic said it looked as big as a sewer pipe."

Flowmaster Exhaust Systems – Force II (2007 Ford F150 FX4: 5.4L)

Posted on 07/18/2007 by David B. - 2007 Ford F150 (Rio Rancho,NM)

"I have to hand it to Autoanything for the quick delivery of my exhaust system. The installation only took my son & I 45 minutes to install. The only issue we ran into was the Flowmaster tip that was provided didn't fit very well and the small bolt provided ended up breaking. I used an extra clamp which was provided to finish off the install. The 50-series Flowmaster sound great. Quiet and smooth while cruising and then that deep rumble and roar when you step on it. You gotta love it. I definitely noticed the extra power with the single exhaust pipe I installed and as expected no loss in low end torque that can be seen with the dual. Haven't noticed any milage increase having only gone through one tank but it's hard to drive mellow all the time:)"

"Very easy install, mellow rumble that won't wake the neighbors. Very quiet inside the cabin at cruising speeds but a great tone when getting on it. No noticeable mileage increase but that could be my fault (always wanting to hear that rumble). Definite throttle response improvement. Nice Exhaust for the price!"

Great sound, great performance, mediocre fit

Posted on 06/12/2007 by Nicholas S. - 1998 Ford F150 (Mount Laurel,NJ)

"I got the kit UPS ground in less than 3 days. Extremely fast shipping!!! I installed it as soon as it arrived as I had already chopped off the exhaust a week prior in a failed attempt to install a used exhaust kit. After driving around with no exhaust for a week, I was ready to get a muffler on the truck!! The installation took about 1.5 hours and went almost exactly according to the instructions. On my truck, a 98 Ford F150, the instructions tell you to cut about 2" from the end of the inlet pipe, no problem, but after installing, it probably would have made it easier to cut off at least 3" since it is a very tight fit getting the pipes into the muffler after they have been hung. The instructions also tell you to bolt the included exhaust hangar to two holes that should be already in the frame. Not on my truck...again, no problem, I realize they can't make these things work perfectly for every application and there are variances from year to year. So I drilled two holes in the frame and mounted the hanger. Of course I drilled too low, so that pipe hangs slightly lower than the other. One of these days I'll get back under there and fix it. Another problem I ran into is with the spare tire. The exhaust does not fit around my spare with my aftermarket hitch. Again, this is not necessarily Flowmaster's fault and upon closer inspection, it looks like my hitch does push the tire back slightly toward the exhaust...so it might work with a different brand hitch or the factory hitch. For now, I just carry the spare around in the bed. Other than those small problems, I LOVE THIS EXHAUST. I had several people try to talk me into getting the Magnaflow kit, but I've always been a fan of Flowmasters (I think it comes from my love of the Mustang). Some people I know have the American Thunder kit with the 40 series muffler and I was worried about getting the highway drone that they get with it, but with the 50 series SUV/Truck muffler, there is NONE!! Don't get me wrong, when you get on the throttle, "

Nice purr but little added fuel economy

Posted on 05/23/2007 by Steve B. - 2006 Ford F150 (Huntington,WV)

"Everything arrived on time and in good condition. The directions were easy to understand and all the parts fit together well, however, I chose not to do it myself because the directions also highly recomended that all the pipes be welded together after all final adjustments were made. I was not happy with the muffler shops "tack" welding. They did not weld all the way around and the welded areas are prone to rust. I also heard that the aluminized metal that the pipes and muffler are made of will likely rust in about 5-6 years. That's not cool! However, once I started it up it did sound really nice. A smooth deep rumble at higher rpms but not too much noise as to bother anyone. I already put on a K&N cold air intake system and the hypertech chip reprogramer and in hopes of getting my loaded down 2006 F-150 with 5.4 liter to get better than 12.5 mpg. With everything included using 93 octane, I can get about 14.5. I would say that Flowmaster accounted for about .75 of a mile per gallon. The truck is a little more responsive and I believe that my horsepower went up a little, but without anyway of testing it I am just guessing."

"As per other reviews, this is an awesome deal. It does not sound quite as loud as I hoped but is better than stock. Install is very easy as long as you don't remove the stock pipe in the wrong place.. Yes, it does fit a Dodge 4.7 liter even if the spec's don't list that engine size."

Increase Horsepower

Posted on 05/10/2007 by Michael W. - 2000 Chevy Silverado (Parkville,MD)

"Excellent system, although a bit quiter than expected, it will rumble when you get down on it. Performance has increase at lease 25 - 30%. You can really feel the difference as soon as you step on the gas petal. Shipping was outstanding recieved my system in 2 days. Recommended AutoAnything to all my friends, they love the way the pipes angle out the sides, thanks... Mike"
