"My first upgrade was a 18" magnaflow universal muffler. Good for tooling around town, but the drone at highway speed was giving me migraines. The gibson is a very quiet exhaust by comparison. You can barely hear it in the cab, which is nice. If you are behind the car, it gives a nice mellow rumble. Performance boost is subtle but noticible. No fuel economy benifit over stock. The appearance is excellent, although I may get bigger tips in the future."

"I'm very pleased with my purchase. This kit is made of quality parts and the instructions are straight forward. The hardest part was getting the stock exhaust off. I was very happy how each piece fit perfectly. It sounds very tough off the bottom end especially when you punch it, but then it mellows when you get through the gears. I have transformed my Hemi by adding a performance chip, K&N filter kit and the icing on the cake with my new exhaust system. I highly recommend this product."

"Love my new Gibson exhaust system. Sounds great and a noticeable increase in horsepower. Had Walt's Radiator install. Took them one hour and they charged me $90.00. Well worth the $$ to not have to do it myself in my cold garage. Would recommend that method of installation. Let the pros do it."

"It was my first time for an install so it took me a little while longer than it should have (3 hours)but if I had paid more attention to what I was doing it wouldn't have taken as long, half the time. It looks excellent and it is a lower rumble than the Flowmaster that was on before. I really like it."

"I have waited a couple of years to buy this exhaust. The OEM exhaust was on it's way out so why not? Installation was fairly easy, a couple things that could of helped. The directions said that the drivers side tail pipe goes between the tire and the shock (this can't happen) it should read spare tire and shock! You will be hard pressed to get 1" clearance from shocks. Over all very happy with it, the sound is deep with good base sound."

"First off to take off the old exhaust system, the instructions given recommends that you have a hacksaw to remove it. Don't buy a hacksaw or use one if you have one. Go with a grinder, it will make life easier trust me. Once the exhaust was cut in the appropriate spots to remove it, it was easy sailing from there. It's true what everyone says, "installing the new exhaust is much easier than removing the stock system. After the exhaust system was installed, made my truck sound less of a pussy and more like a mean machine. Has a great mellow sound at ignition and best sounds are around 2,000-3,500 RPM. At highways speeds (avg. 65mph) it is not too loud. Just enough sound to make people know you don't have some stock system. Definite noticable power. Can overtake on highways with ease. This system is great, i would recommend it to anyone with a Sport Trac."

"First off my oem muffler heat sheild cracked like 3 times on me and was tired of getting it tacked back down my the local muffler shop.. I was intrested in the gibson thinking it was going to be as quiet as the oem.. which it is once the truck is in od. but as i as gaining speed it is a little louder than i would want.. but it is manageble..just turn the radio up a little bit louder.. :) i like the look.. but i have a 1 lower afterstock spring on the back which i think is a problem.. the tips of the muffler are rubbing... so i need to bend the pipes downward a little bit.. which i am looking at try to get done.. other than that.. they are nice... one suggestion... make sure u have a saz-all to get the oem muffer out... there is not other way to get it out without cutting it.."

"It was easy to install took a total of about 20-30 minutes. Sound wise it is louder but not too loud to where its anoying. You can really feel and hear the power, also got a little more miles per gallon. I would recamend this to anyone who is looking for an exhaust but doesnt want to spend to much for one. For the price I can complain."

"I was looking to get my truck (F150 4.2 V6) sounding more like a truck, with that low rumbling. I get that sound with this setup, but only at low rpms, at higher rpms it sounds like those cheap mufflers kids throw on their civics. I knew there was really nothing I could do to make my V6 sound like a V8, so my expectations were not too high, but still I was hoping for a bit more. I ran into a few problems during the install, but not because the setup was lacking at all. It's an easy setup to install, the hardest part is getting the stock exhaust out. The adapter that comes with this setup fits, but not flush so I will need to seal it, but I would expect this with any bolt on system. Welding would be the ideal solution. I do feel an increase in horsepower, which is always nice."

"The Gibson Dual Sport Exhaust was an awesome addition to my Ranger. From the second I turned the key I noticed a HUGE difference. It literally roared to life. Even my Dad was impressed by it; said it had the throaty sound of his old '69 Mustang in its day. Definitely has a lot more power than before; not sure about the mileage - maybe a small increase, I haven't gotten around to calculating it. Packaging was great, shipping was also good - it came through the mail about a week after I bought it. Instructions were a bit confusing and vague: the directions say to be sure not to damage any stock bolts or gaskets. With all the rust to my flange bolts, I was forced to hacksaw them off so I went to the Ford dealership and bought new bolts. $33 later I realized the kit had replacement bolts - that would have been nice to know. Other than the whole fiasco with the rusted bolts, installation went pretty flawlessly. No unusual tools are necessary. If you have a lifted truck, be prepared to deal with a little extra annoyance, as the pipe is forced to fit pretty snugly around the aftermarket shocks, which pins it against the spare tire until everything settles into its place. The double-barrel tips look awesome. Great combo with the K&N Cold Air Filters. I strongly recommend."
