"We purchased this exhaust for a 2000 Ford F150 4.2 V6 truck. After shopping and reading the reviews we decided on the Gibson Exhaust, it has a great sound - not too loud or obnoxious - just right. Noticed a little better performance. Have not checked mileage. Thank you Auto Anything for your great response and follow ups when we had questions."

"Everything fit great. Matched up perfectly to oem hangers. Sounds great. Not too loud but nice mellow tone. An all around quality system. '95 Sonoma and the system is still available. Many others aren't."

"Love it!! Removal of stock exhaust is the hardest, and even that went smoothly. System fits perfectly, sounds great! I've seen post where it's said "not any louder than stock", don't believe it, has a nice exhaust note, good as any of the competition! On my '07, factory hitch is welded on, so you use the supplied hangers, same as if "no hitch" vehicle. I used a bay with a lift, took my time, and still was done in under 2 hours."

Stainless Gibson Catback Exhaust

"i recently purchased a stainless Gibson catback exhaust for my 1998 Ford Explorer with a 4.0 SOHC. i noted a few things during installation. One was that the fit of the muffler to the cat was not the best. As it was a dual inlet muffler, the kit comes with a flange on one side with a flare and on the other side, a straight pipe that slides over the cat pipe. Neither side sealed up well and moisture leaks out there even after the bolts and clamp are tight. Secondly, i noticed that the clamp included with the kit was a 2 1/2" for one side on the front of the muffler, when in fact, a 2 1/4" clamp is the right size. And finally, i have had some problems with exhaust clearance on the right rear shock. i was only able to get the exhaust in far enough for 1/8" of clearance on the shock and it vibrates against it frequently. Otherwise, i like the tone and the power. My truck even seems to run better with this system than it did with the stock one."

"Quality is very good.The sound is just what I wanted.Mellow at idle,and barks when you want it to.Put in a Hypertech program right after the muffler system,woke up the beast that was hid for 5 years.Too early for mileage check,but lots more power and torque.Would buy it again and shipping was excellent.Left Cal. Sat. my step Ia. on Monday.Had a muffler shop put it on,looks fairly easy,but didn't have a hoist and was bitterly cold here in the tundra when I received it.2002 Chevy HD 6.0 litre.Thanks autoanything for a great price and fast shipping."

"Cutting a perfectly good factory exhaust to remove it, (the only way to get it off), really hurt; however, the perfect fit of the 3 piece Gibson product and the subsequent 1/mpg gain along with a nice rumble were worth it. As for hp gains, only a dyno before and after would know for sure; however, it feels really strong of the line and when down shifting the passing gear. Bruce W. Hamburg, PA."

"This exhaust couln't have been any easier to put on my Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab short bed. The old exhaust came off easy enough and the Gibson took about 15 minutes to put on. 1 clamp and 3 rubber hangers and it was done. And the sound is great, reminds me of my old Z-28."

"SUPER Easy Install. This was a 30 minute remove and replace with no cutting. Once I took it out for a spin, I good feel the extra power when I pushed the pedel to the metal. What a rush!!! Great sound when wide open and quiet with a nice deep sound under normal driving conditions. Great Product - Highly recommended."

"I am very pleased so far with the side swept exhaust. It installed with ease in about 1 1/2 hours. It has a nice rumble, not too loud. I haven't had it on long enough yet to check the fuel mileage to see if there is an improvment. I would buy again and use again."

"Actual installation was very easy. Removal of factory installed muffler was inexorably difficult! I would personally recommend having it done at a muffler shop, but maybe it's just me. As far as performance (I didn't have it dynoed) I couldn't really tell if MUCH had changed. Fuel consumption did not improve or decline. As for sound, it's louder than I was hoping for (a friend had told me this one wasn't very loud), but I knew going in that it was a performance exhaust system and would be louder than factory. Therefore I'm not unimpressed. I like the deeper tones at idle, but I'm not fond of blowing my eardrums out with the radio to hear over the exhaust at 50mph. Overall, it's nice. I probably wouldn't do it again, but I did get what I thought I would... a louder exhaust with little if any change in power/performance."

Gibson Swept Side Exhaust SS (07 Tundra 5.7L)

"The swept side exhaust system was very easy to install, I put it on myself. The sound is a great improvement from the factory exhaust system. At cursing speed you can just hear a little tone in the cab, which is not obnoxious. My only complaint about the exhaust system is that I didn't get a sticker for my truck. In addition, I also added an AEM Brute Force Air intake system. As soon as I installed both products, I notice a difference in throttle response and acceleration. The intake system is very quiet and easy to install. I would recommend both products."

"love the exhaust very quick install has good tone and sound to it just wish it was a little bit louder on the outside and it has very little cab noise good choice for someone looking for a better tone with out a loud cab noise and can really tell it has picked up some acceleration power"

Gibson Super Truck Exhaust

"I had this exhaust on my old GMC and loved it. When I got my new 07 Sierra I opted for the regualr gibson exhaust that exits behind the rear wheel. Had it 3 months then went back to the super truck exhaust, the sound is much better, it looks cool and I'll never have anything else on my trucks."
