"Installed on my '05 Colorado pretty easy. I'm not a mechanic by any means but the install wasn't to difficult one small snag with the hanger on the drivers side but easliy over come. Good sound great look...I'm a fan."

"PROS - its a good exhaust better throttle response. its hard to find a aftermarket exhaust for a ext-cab long-bed but Gibson makes on. CONS - not as loud as i wanted but it has a nice growl."

"Took over an hour to remove the stock exhaust, but only 20 min. to install this one. Sounds great outside of the vehicle, but a little louder in the cab than I had hoped. Could feal the extra power immediately. Would recommend this system to anyone."

Great quiet performance exhaust

"Installed the aluminized version on my 2006 Xterra. It adds a deeper, growlier tone to the exhaust note compared to stock. The sound is very mellow though -it is still extremely quiet on the highway or when driving normally. Stepping on the throttle brings it to life, though it still isn't loud. Hard to say if any power gains are to be had, but the the throttle is certainly more responsive. Combined with my K&N intake I added there is a definite increase in horsepower. Downsides: the exhaust for the 2nd gen Xterras is not side swept, and the tip is fairly large so you have to be careful not to burn yourself as it extends beyond the bumper of the truck."

"I'll be honest, i'm sure most understand the basics of exhaust systems and how to install them. I'm not one of those people. All I know is that it is a gas saver and sounds good. Things that I noticed: it has a really good deep tone and is not overbearing loud. I have notice more pickup and acceleration and considerable more torque. the only thing that is that if you do have a 4 door truck, just know that the exhaust will exit in front of the rear tires, so if you have a running board, the tips wont fit. Overall, it is a great product and I am enjoying it, especially turning it on."

"i went to work shop to install Gibson Exhaust - Super Truck, i paid about $50 and three workers start working on it. it didn't take alot of time approxmetly 10 mins . when i switch the truck on . the sound wasn't clear because of noisy if the work shop first i get dispointed ,but when i went out side i didn't beleive that's sound come form my truck it was great and loud out of capin quiet inside . after many days Gibson Exhaust - Super Truck get loudly sound which i satisafy with now. Thank you Gibson Exhaust Thank you AutoANyThing"

A real do-it-yourself improvement

"I installed The Swept Side on my wife's '02 Yukon XL. It fit perfectly, no issuses what so ever. Quite easily done in the driveway w/ jack stands (best with a friend). I had installed a K & N intake system a few weeks ago and the combo is sweet! You can hear and feel the difference. So much less restrictive. If you want to break windows when you "gun it" downtown, this is not for you. Rather a low rumble and pop. I might actually have liked it a bit louder. But that being said, it's so much nicer than stock. It finishes w/ a nice engraved "gibson" on the polished tip. I highly recommend it to anyone who's looking to gain a bit of power, fuel savings and noise out of their stock exhaust. Go for the intake too and really wake-up your ride! And, as always, dealing w/ Auto Anything is quick and definitely painless! My complaint..."Hey Gibson where's the sticker for the back window"??????"

"I have recently installed the GIBSON DUEL EXTREME on my 04 chevy 2500 hd 6.0 I also installed a k&n air system.Performance was greatly improved. Have not checked fuel milage. But over all system installed easily and fit well.Sound is just right only complaint was the 3 inch clamps not strong enought to seal at cat pipes.Had to use heave duty clamps to get it to seal."

ONly fits 2.2 L HHR

"First this is not the split exhaust, Gibson doesn't presently manufacture a split exhaust for the 2.4 Ecotec, the illustration is a generic picture. Second, the kit fits only a 2.2. I had alignment problems and rattles untill I cut the front pipe and intermediate pipes to fit. Gibson is aware of the problem and has a 2.4 HHR in the lab to fix the problem and re-engineer.Gibson promised to make it right and send me the correct parts. The quality of the exhaust is very good, however, and has a nice tone to it, not ricey at all.All parts and instructions were in the box, and everything was well packed, The initial Install took about one hour. I spent about another 2 hours pulling it off and re-fitting to alleviate the rattle and banging. It is typical Gibson high quality I am sure they will correct the fit issue quickly."

"The exhaust went on easily. Removing the stock exhaust took longer than putting the Gibson on. The sound is great. Not as loud as what I expected, which is good. Noise in the cab isn't bad at all. The sound at acceleration is absolutly beautiful!!! Great product and great service from AutoAnything. I highly recommend both."

"dont get me wrong it is good for the price but if you are looking for serious head turning rumble just wait till you can afford a serious rumbler as for looks it is clean and i get enough rumble to make me "feel" like its turning heads + i heard it is not as annoying in the cab as the true "rumblers" also I did not get much on gas economy or performance to make me realize but the numbers show a rise!!"
