"After much reasearch I finally purchased the Gibson dual sport for my 05' Ford F150 Supercrew 4x2 5.4 3V, Installed myself in little more than 1hr. hardest part was removing old muffler. Only recommendation for them is to better label the parts and hardware to ease install, and the inside hanger bar on drivers side pipe was bent forward and I had to bend it back and reposition it. Great sound when your on it and a little louder than stock when your cruising alog. It really opened up the exhaust flow and truck seems to work easier. Nice product"

Perfect balance of sound quality / power

"Only took an hour to install the system. The system is well engineered and high quality. As adverised the system is only a little louder than stock at idle and cruising speeds, although when I get on it speaks with authority! Autoanything shipped ahead of schedule and I am completely satisfied with my purchase!"

"I had my exhaust installed by a muffler shop because I didn't want to mess around with the old system. It sounds great and I have increased HP. I also like it because it's tucked in higher. Well worth the money!"

"The exhaust installation went exactly as quoted. The entire process took just over one hour using hand tools and no lift. Outstanding product with a perfect exhaust sound. This product is highly recommended. I have not had a chance to test the performance improvements, but the truck feels like there definitely is."

"I was thrilled when I recieved my exhaust and anxious to put it on. It was a little more difficult than I expected, but with the help of a friend it took just under one hour (from removing the stock to installation of the Gibson). I LOVE the sound, felt an immediate throttle response improvement, and couldn't be happier. My wife doesn't understand why I paid to make my Explorer louder, but I just smile everytime I drive it."

"Thanks for the quick shipment of my Gibson Swept Side exhaust! I installed it on my '05 Toyota Tacoma 4.0 V-6. WOW! It "rumbles" in idle. Roars on acceleration! The Gibson Swept Side, along with the K & N air charger intake, are an excellent combination! Thanks again Lou........"

"The exhaust is exactly as described in previous reviews. Not too loud, but delivers a nice low toned resonance. If your looking for the macho extreme exhaust sound then the swept side is not for you. I haven't taken gas mileage stats but I feel an increase on the acceleration especially on the freeway. I will also be adding a K&N intake soon since I hear that enhances the performance & the engine growl but I am completely happy w/ this product! Took me about 2 hours to install & I'm not much of a gear head so I imagine your average joe can install in about that time or less."

"The Gibson exhaust system has really improved my horsepower. Unlike other exhaust systems it is very quiet until you really accelerate and you can hear a deep clear rumble of power. The only drawbacks I have about this system are the connection between my muffler and catalytic converter did not match up if you bolt them together and the decrease in gas mileage. Overall I am very happy with the Gibson exhaust!"

Great Product, even better Seller

"Purchased my Gibson Catback for a 2001 Durango with the 4.7L. Fitment was a bit of an issue, but nothing that a little wrestling didn't fix. Sound is a low V8 rumble, just a little above stock, no interior resonance in the third row seat at all. Interior noise is very little. Roll down the window and put your foot in it and you know that you have an aftermarket system though. Gas milage increase is about 2-4mpg with my airaid CAI. AutoAnything was great, matched and beat the lowest price I could find on the internet from their competitors. Go with them, and get this great product if your looking for great performance, mild tone, the best price, and fast shipping!"

"I AM PLEASED WITH THIS PURCHASE I HAVE INSTALLED A COLD AIR INTAKE PRIOR TO THIS AND WHEN I PUT THE EXHAUST ON YOU COULD TELL A NOTICABLE GAIN IN TORQUE & OVERALL RESPONSE WITH JUST ENOUGH TONE TO STAY FAIRLY QUIET AT LOW RPM'S. IT IS A GOOD PRODUCT."

"Purchased #18802 for my 06 Tacoma.Had stock exhaust off in 10 minutes,screwed around for2.5hrs.trying to geteverthing lined up and straight-finally said Ok good enough,tightened it up and realized I had muffler 6Oclock&12Oclock switched and that was why I fought so hard getting it lined up nice & straight I wont mention how much fun I had gettinr straight after Ihad tightened it all up TWO suggestions 1.READ DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY!!2.Dont try to squeeze it in before dinner with the in-laws. system is very well-made andsounds very nice,not to loud-but opens up nice when punched"

Better than Stock

"Good purchase for the money. Not as loud as I expected but sounds good on a mellow note... maybe a good thing! Gas mileage has improved by about 1 MPG after installation. I also have a K&N FIPK kit which together with the exhaust provides a big difference in horsepower! I'd recommend it for those who want a good exhaust on a budget. If I had 3X as much money to spend I'd go with the Borla, but in my opinion, this is a very good exhaust for the money."
