"Nice exhaust system, I DO NOT recommend do-it-yourself install. Directions were wrong and clamps don't hold tight, spend the extra $70 to $80 dollars for install. System does sound great and more power..."

"Definately increased low end torque, and also loosened up some ponies. gas milage hasnt changed all that much gained 1 or 2 mpg."

"I had my old exhaust off and the gibson exhaust on in about an hour and a half. the kit was complete and the parts labeled. the sound is a soft rummble and not too loud"

2005 Frontier Exhaust

"I had read the reviews and they were true...it took about two hours to install (without lifting the truck). Everything fit. With the already installed K&N model 77 intake, the truck sounds like the NISMO Z car, or a Porsche. I am very pleased. One minor problem, there is no place on the exhaust to hook the rear grounding strap. I used an 'L' bracket and a stainless hose clamp, but the factory could easily add a SS stud for that purpose."

Very good system...one wrong part

"The hanger that is welded to the muffler clamp is too short........It held the muffler aganist the bottom of the vehicle...No I didn't put it on upside down. The wromg clamp was in my kit. I paid the muffler shop $25 to make it right."

"The installation of the Gibson exhaust to my 2004 Xterra was a simple and well worthwhile addition. The exhaust has a pleasant exhaust note that does not make the cab much louder than the stock exhaust. There is a definite improvement in performance of the Xterra. Would I do it again? Heck yes! What a great price and value."

"Because you were willing to beat a competitors price plus some, you got my business. Install was simple when you have a friend who's auto mechanic with a welder(no clamps) I could have done the job myself but i'm a perfectionist and wanted the system welded together. Horsepower has increased as gas milage; not dramatically but plenty. It sounds awesome and the dual extreme look doesn't look like everyone else's. Thank you AutoAnything, I look froward to doing business with you again. Richard"

Gibson Swept side

"I have a 9 f150 with kn series 77 fipk, and now gibosn exhaust. This combination has proved benificial due to improved torque and gas milage (gain of 50-75 mi per tank). System easy to install, nice low tone that is quiet in the cab, and low end torque inproves. I installed this system myself in about 1.5 hours. The only bad thing I noticed was in the installation instructions were it said to measure 43" from the rear of the stock muffler and the picture showedmeasuring from the front of the muffler. This could potentially cause confusion and installation problems. I called gibson and te said they would "investigate" it."

"following your instruction, the installation was simple...a helpful hint like spraying the rubber hangers with wd-40 is good, but using a channel lock to remove & install the metal bracket into the rubber hanger helped a lot."
