"with gas at a premium, anything that will help gas mileage is a plus. I gained torque for towing, smooth power for the hills, and about 1.5mpg, as long as I keep my foot out of it. Sounds nice too, a little noisier but not too loud."

"I ordered the Gibson Dual Extreme and had a muffler shop install it for $125; they welded all of the joints and did an excellent job. I did not have to remove my spare and it is still accessible. The sound is exactly what I was looking for, it has a definite growl and the truck breathes easier. I also installed a K&N Intake Performance Kit and now I get better mileage and its fun to drive! I highly recommend this system."

"The kit came with everything needed for the installation. Just add tools and about 2 hours if you are doing it on your back in the driveway. It fit together well. Can feel the change around town and it has a pleasant sound, not like the Flowmaster system I had on my old suburban that had an anoying booming resonance inside the truck that was especially bad around 55mph."

"I had my Gipson professionly installed and I right away I noticed a deeper sound from my exhaust which carries into the cabin. I calculated my fuel and saw no gains. I don't notice any increase in horsepower or torque. It might be there but I can't tell. I tried applying for less expensive insurance through Chrysler and they rejected me because I had a "Gibson muffler" because it increases "horsepower" OK, Let's go to a drag strip and race a PT Cruiser stock with one that has a "Gibson muffler" and see the difference. I bet; "It's a tie.""

"I tow 7000 lbs travel trailer & needed to bump torque/hp for 5.3L Chevy, without "big sound"! Gibson recommended Swept Side. With out a doubt I got bump and with a very mellow rumble. Cab rumble is minimal at interstate speed and engine runs a little cooler."

"Expect some difficulty installing unless it is done professionally. The old system will have to be cut off to use. Fuel economy gain seems minimal after a few tanks of gas, but performance output is substantially increased."

"I purchased the exhaust system on a Thursday and it was at my door Saturday at noon! Not bad for free shipping. The exhaust system is well made looks like it will last the lifetime of the vehicle. The 3" pipe is huge. The system was easy to install by yourself (on your back) in 1-1/2 hours and fit as well as the factory parts, using all the same hangers. Exhaust tone is mellow and deep. I noticed the improved throttal response immediately. Overall, the shopping experience and installation was very good.... and I got 20 more horsepower."

"Great exhaust with great low tone. Easy installation, the hardest part was the removal of factory exhaust. Overall, added a little horsepower and gave my truck a low decibel rumble."

"I have purchased Gibson Exhausts for the following vehicles: '04 F150, '02 Explorer, and '03 Expedition. The Gibson Exhaust System is well designed and very facile to assemble. The sound is rather unusual and very captivating. In addition to the added HP and value, the system is priced well. I encourage others to buy a well designed and unique exhaust system- The GIBSON Series for your particular vehicle."

Gibson Split Rear for Ford F-350

"A very nice system except I had problems with mounting the muffler. The muffler will not sit straight within the heat shield and hits the side of the shield. I tried to rotate the headpipe and move the band clamp, but had no success. Otherwise, I like the exhaust system."

"Hmm well theres not much to say that hasnt been said already about this product good or displeasing but well i come to the conclusion that there is yet to be one negative comment about this product which is hard to come by now a days why with the shotty merchandise that is for sale. for one this product not only is cosmetically good but saves me gas too i know nothing about mechanics but since i was able to read well i managed to get this on with the instructions provided this was installed within 45 minutes and wasnt complicated at all i would definetly reccomend this to others."
