"My gibson is exactly what i wanted it is not to loud and works great with the triptronic system in the 08 silverados.It is giving me great gains in both power and gas mileage. Glad I went with gibson I almost went with flowmaster but didnt want anything to loud."

"I bought the dual extreme exhaust for my suburban, it has nice deep growl sound very quiet inside the cab, the exhaust fits real nice and looks awesome, I have noticed an increase on mpg, auto anything was fast to deliver thank you guys so much, great customer service"

"Gave as gift to my dad for Christmas. Had professional shop do install. They originally said it should only be an hour or so. Three hours later, it was finished. Problems were exhaust pipes after the muffler just didn't quite fit. The bends needed some tweaking to fit just right. Clears OE trailer hitch just fine."

"The Gibson looks and sounds better than stock and represnts better value than what Nissan has to offer at a $150 more. However, I would not recommend installing it yourself since a bit of fabrication and torch-work are needed. I had the local Midas (Westboro, MA) shop install it for $85 labor cost. Overall a great product."

"Sounds great, looks good too. Deep throaty tone at low rpm's and all but disappears at freeway speeds. Hard time keeping my foot off the pedal with the sound and all the new horse."

"System came quickly, nicely packaged and in good condition. The quality is at least as good if not better than anything else I've seen (I got the side swept in alum. steel)- I probably should have gotten stainless but time will tell. Fit was perfect, install piece of cake except removing old system. Definite increase in response, accelleration and power while remaining quiet with nice tone. Couldn't be happier."

"This is the 3rd Gibson exhaust I have installed, two on Ford Explorer's and one on a Ford Ranger. They all have been easily to install. The noise level not much more than stock and you can fill the difference in performance."

"Auto Anything is a awesome company! My order was placed extremely quick over the phone and it arrived just as fast. Considering it came from Cali and I live in South Carolina. Me and one of my buddies had the factory exhaust off and the new Gibson extreme duals on in about 90 min. it was only tight in one spot under the truck against the bed but the tundra has heat shields in just the right places so it doesn't matter, It also clears the spare tire. It sounds sweet once the muffler warms up. I've heard rumors about exhaust systems needing to be burned in! It didn't seem to be that loud when I first put it on, but after a week or two it really starts to rumble! Maybe its a myth but i believe its true with this system. Lastly If you smell something burning, don't worry it's just the labels burning off the pipes! Chris"

Nice Pipe

"Nice mello tone. It seems to have more mid-range power which is nice. Very easy install once you get the stock muffler off, that was the worst part as I didn't have anyway to cut the stock pipe so I had to jack up the rear of my Ford Ranger and take off the spare tire and twist and turn the stock pipe until I got it off. I would suggest cutting off that old pipe before you install the Gibson cat-back. Another nice feature was I have a long bed Ford Ranger and Gibson was the only one that I could find that a cat-back system that would fit my Ranger."

"If you want an exhaust system that is not annoyingly loud but has a deep tone and roars on acceleration this is the one for your. This exhaust will turn heads on acceleration not because it is obnoxious but because it sounds nice. Horsepower increases as well. Very easy to install no need to cut the old one off as the directions state."

"Installation wasn't difficult. However, the recommended placement of the Gibson muffler put the pipes (down the system) against the 20" spare. A few small tweaks of muffler placement (rotating it on the pipes) and everything fit without rubbing. Overall? Awesome."

"Th Gibson Extreme Dual Exhaust system in stainless steel not only looks good it sounds awesome. Nice tone and barely noticable inside. Had it installed at dealer where vehicle was purchased. Had a Gibson Extreme Dual Exhuast System on my 2002 Chevy Avalanche and loved it. I just had to have on for my Tahoe."

"I had the Sport truck style Gibson set up for 5 or 6 years and it sounded great but was very loud inside the truck since it comes out right behind the right cab window. Well after all those years in Virginia weather it rusted away so I looked and found a great price on Autoanything.com when the salesman asked me where I was he recommended the stainless steel system this go around and I went with the single exit full length style Gibson this time and WOW what a difference between the two systems. The power gained and noise lost is Wonderful if you want a smooth ride, nice sound and lots of power above stock system this is the exhaust system for you I love it and the stainless steel has a life time warranty what more could you want"

F-150 Gibson Cat-Back Exhaust

"I have an 06' Super cab w/ the 5.4 Triton motor. This cat-back system is everything Gibson says it is. The quality is great, fit excellent and installation easy. The installation took about 2 1/2 hours (I have a lift so it may take you longer, but the Fords sit up pretty high so it would'nt be too difficult w/o one). Fit was very good, did'nt have to strugle w/ anything. Hint: take the bolts right off the hangers where they are attached to the frame rails and drop the whole section (muffler and tail pipe). This is much easier than trying to pull the muffler back out of the rubber hangers (It's a heavy SOB). Reattach the hangers before the new system goes on. Not sure why Gibson did'nt try to utilize the rear most stock hanger on the passenger side vs. installing a new one, but it works out regardless. The sound is very mellow when cruising, and not too loud but noticable when you punch it, just right for me. Barely audible at idle. If you want a loud system this is not for you. Power, response and torque gains are noticable, but I have the Jet spacer and K&N filter, and that helps I'm sure. The split rear with the pipes exiting behind the rear wheels looks awesome!"

"The experience from beginning to end was effortless. The sales rep was very helpful. Shipping was quick and surprisingly the installation was amazingly smooth. Thw sound is good as well as the boost in power, although I don't believe it is not what is advertised. We will see if it improves my gas mileage."

"I was VERY impressed in how fast I was able to put the system in. Very well made ! All the hangers were exactly in the right locations with no problems. Great fit and finish. It took me twenty minutes . . .TOPS . . .with simple hand tools by my self! The system sounds great at idle. Very mellow with a deep tone. At cruising speed, it doesn't drone or resonate through the cabin. It really doesn't sound that much louder than stock at cruising speed but, when you mash the right pedal . . .OH YEAH ! It sounds AWESOME ! It really makes the 4.0 come to life! This truly is the best system for the money! GET IT !"

"I bought the Gibson Exhaust at the beginning of November. Installation would have been easy if my old exhaust wasnt rusted out. I was expecting better fuel economy but im only getting another 1/2 mile to the gallon. Overall I think it was a good buy, I love the sound a slight increase in fuel economy and the price was fair."

"I purchased this after reading the other reviews and was excited till I put it on my 03 Chevy Z71. It did give me a little increase in power. The directions were different from the product I recieved, and I had to make a lot of adjustments. Once on I was very disappointed at the sound, it is not much louder than the stock exhaust. I will be going to a pro shop and get it replaced soon. If you purchase one make sure you actually hear it on a vehicle before you buy it. I will not be purchasing gibson again."
