"nice system, semi easy to install, you will want to have a list and a pipe cutter for this application. the pipes were too long for the tips. gas mileage has not improved any, but the sound is good, not to loud."

"Even though my SUV has over 97,000 miles and 6 grueling northern Illinois winters on it, the removal of the old exhaust and subsequent installation of the new Gibson performance system was a snap! Very clear instructions and a precise fitting. I've noticed a 2% increase in my mileage already! The 4.0 V6 has a very nice growl to it; not too loud and definitely NOT a "fart" muffler."

"This is the greatest exhaust i have ever had, heard, or seen. It was very easy to install and has a perfect rumble that is not to loud as most dual exhaust systems. But gives as much of a power and torque increase."

"...go for one of the other exhausts like Magnaflow or Flowmaster. I pretty much got what i wanted. I wanted to be able to hear the exhaust but without the uncontrolled constant roar throughout the RPM. With Gibson you have that control. When you wanna hear it, lay on it! If you're just looking for an increase in MPG's, I don't think this one's for you. I may have rec'd half an MPG increase. But of course i've only gone through about 250 city driven miles, so I may be wrong. I need a highway test really. As far as the quality, it is just as impressive as i'd read. I'm sure i'll never need another catback. Hope this helps someone."

"I have a 2008 dodge ram 1500 with a 5.7 hemi. The exhaust sounds awesome, was very easy to install. I have the extreme that exits behind the tires, the only problem was the left side rear hanger seems a little crappy, not too big a deal, the pipe just hangs a little close to the spare tire. It may take you a little to get the pipes to look even. I have a k & n 77 series cold air intake and i was getting around 15.1 for mileage with stock exhaust, now with the exhaust and cold air I get like 14.9. Not too much of a difference. I havent taken it on any long highway trips. Probally would have went with the rear exits though."

"The exhaust system was installed on 2008 Dodge Ram Quad Cab with a 5.7 Hemi. Installation was easy because the truck was new and the stock exhaust removal was easy. The sound isn't overly loud but loud enough so the truck sounds mean. I am completely satisfied."

"This was by far the easiest installation I have ever done on an exhaust system! The whole thing consisted of 2 bolts, and 2 hangers. Once I broke the old bolts off, the entire old system came down, after I undid the hangers. The Gibson system went right on, with no problems at all! Everything was high quality, and fit right the first time. I am also very pleased with the exhaust note. Sounds good, but not overwhelming. You do hear it, but normal conversations in the vehicle aren't a problem. The chrome tip looks nice, too! The vehicle definitely has better acceleration, and I gained 1 mpg! VERY SATISFIED!!!"

"Very nice construction-much better than the stock piece. Installation was a snap! I was able to do the whole thing with my truck on the ground.
Coupled with an intake there is an immediate noticeable difference (throttle response thoughout RPM range, faster at 3k+ rpm's).
Not the loudest, but produces a rumbling, satifying tone. I'd buy it again!"

"This is exactly what I was looking for. I've got a 2001 Dodge Dakota 4wd Club Cab 4.7 automatic. My original started rusting out after 7 years and I wanted something with better flow and sound. This is it!!! Nice low tone rumble at idle with just a bit more sound when you mash the loud pedal. Absolutely quiet at highway speeds in the cabin. Looks great with the 3 1/2" tip. Installation was done in 1 hour including cutting out my old exhaust. I'm sold on Gibson from now on."

"Received the Gibson stainless exhaust mid week, put it together on the garage floor first and it was a good thing I did because one of the outlet pipes was not expanded enough to fit the muffler properly. I took it to a local muffler shop and $5 later they took care of the issue by expanding the tailpipe. Installing afer that was a breeze. Sounds great, no change in mileage after 5 days of driving. The 409 stainless was much more metalic than i had expected, My borla 304 will not attract a magnet but the Gibson 409 attracted the magnet as if it were 100% steel. Hope is does not rust to badly, I may give it a coat of high temp paint."
