"This was by far the easiest installation I have ever done on an exhaust system! The whole thing consisted of 2 bolts, and 2 hangers. Once I broke the old bolts off, the entire old system came down, after I undid the hangers. The Gibson system went right on, with no problems at all! Everything was high quality, and fit right the first time. I am also very pleased with the exhaust note. Sounds good, but not overwhelming. You do hear it, but normal conversations in the vehicle aren't a problem. The chrome tip looks nice, too! The vehicle definitely has better acceleration, and I gained 1 mpg! VERY SATISFIED!!!"

Gibson Exhaust/2004 Chevy K1500 Suburban

Posted on 02/01/2008 by Bruce W H. - 2001 Chevy Blazer (Hamburg,PA)

"Cutting a perfectly good factory exhaust to remove it, (the only way to get it off), really hurt; however, the perfect fit of the 3 piece Gibson product and the subsequent 1/mpg gain along with a nice rumble were worth it. As for hp gains, only a dyno before and after would know for sure; however, it feels really strong of the line and when down shifting the passing gear. Bruce W. Hamburg, PA."

"First the kit had every thing included for installation. Install was easy, all hangers fit perfectly. The sound is quiet, but enough to here. Very well made product, I would purchase this product again."

"The system was easy to install on a 2004 Ford Ranger 4WD Super Cab with the FX4 Level II package. The truck with a 4.0L motor now has a nice but subtle rumble at idle, low RPMs. Great quality in the exhaust kit. All hardware was included with a complete parts list. The stainless tips look great peeking out below the rear quarter panels. This system isn't too loud, so it was exactly what I was looking for. I didn't notice any mileage improvments yet, but I plan on adding a cold air intake."

"i bought the single side exhaust for my E.B. A.W.D. after an intake install. the intake picked up a few horses, but the Gibson exhaust with the intake unleashed the beast. the exhaust is quieter than the sound byte suggested, but we absolutely love it. would tell EVERYONE with expo to get Gibson exhaust."

"Replacement of stock exhaust very easy. Fit right into existing hangers and bolted right on. Installation was a breeze. Performance wise, I can noticeably feel the difference with the engine. It breaths much easier now, and the throttle is more reponsive. The lower pitch sound is aggressive, but not to much (enough to make the wife smile and shake her head). I would recommend this system."
