Borla vs. stock

"I was skeptical at first as the stock exhaust was very well built w/ great bends and min.obstructions. But getting rid of that tank of a stock muffler and straightening out the pipe after the muffler made a difference. It took a little while to burn out the residue but now it sounds great (not too loud, I've made that mistake)and I can feel the low end has more torque & quicker from the line. Not sure if I got the clamps right as I had to exceed torque rec. to keep tailpipe from rotating. This was a breeze to install, maybe an hour to remove stock and install the Borla, but I could have knocked off 15 min. or so if I had a decent 15mm deep socket."

"great purchase if anyone is interested in cat back dual exaust. great deep tone. just loud enough but not to loud. great sound when starting out in low gear. In cab noise not bad at all. would definitly tell others that its a good buy. also notice a little horsepower gain."

"I took it to a local shop and had them do the install. Even with that it is a bit tight on space coming out the back with the bumper. It vibrates against it with no adjustments on the pipes."
