"Hardest part was getting the old stock pipe and muffler off. After that, installing the Banks kit was a snap. It took about an hour and a half to get the old one off and install the new one. After driving it a few days it seems to have gotten louder. The tone is great; very deep and commanding especially with the K&N intake. I only have driven it a week but already notice an improvement in mpgs. Great exhaust!!!"

"I bought the Banks system mainly for the large oblong tip. It was something that I hadn't seen before. I will say that it looked 'huge' in the box, but once on the truck it's not bad at all. System bolted on in about 30 minutes - 3 factory hanger locations and 3 clamps. Great quality and sound - not overpowering by any means... If you are thinking about this exhaust I say go for it, you won't regret it!"

"The system is good quality, but over priced for bent tubing. What disappoints me the most is no noticable improvement in fuel economy, certainly not the 1-1/2 to 2 mpg that the sales tech suggested. I do like the looks of the polished 4 inch tip but hardly worth $500..."

"this system is superb, I like the sound, the quality and installation was very straight forward. I have seen a big difference in performance. Not a big jump in top end horsepower but definitely better acceleration throughout the rev range. I replaced the stock cat and muffler, which the guts of the cat had blown into and clogged the muffler. I have Borla header and I put in a Magnaflow High flow catalytic converter. Definitely worth the money spent, just in terms of less downshifts in traffic alone."

"I like my Banks Monster Exhaust, but be warned in that magical 1700-2200 rpm band where V8's love to drone...this one does too. It's a bit intense in the cabin while getting up to speed. Otherwise, sounds great and performs great."

"Arrived in excellent time, very pleased with AutoAnything. Only moderately mechanically inclined, but was able to remove the old exhaust and install the new in about 4 hours, by myself. Directions were good. Also got the Banks RamAir intake. Very easy to install. Didn't want real loud, but the exhaust could be louder- I think the DPF muffles the sound. Quality great. Would buy again from Banks and AutoAnything."

"I just installed a Banks Monster exhaust on my 2006 GMC Extended cab 4x4 pickup and I am extremely happy with the end results. The system appears to be very well made and is an all stainless steel exhaust system with the muffler and exhaust tip being a highly polished SS that look great. The only problem I had during the installation was removing the old exhaust from my truck. The flange stud-bolts were so corroded that they broke off, so I had to grind them flush with the flange and then punch them out with an air chisel. Luckily I had the right tools to get around this problem. I used some 3/8" grade-8 hardware to replace the studs I removed. I used anti-seize on all the clamp studs/nuts and flange hardware to prevent rust and future removal issues. If you decide to use anti-seize don't follow the suggested torque settings, since they will distort the metal long before you reach the torque settings. The Banks exhaust gave the look and sound I was after, aggressive V8 rumble during acceleration, not too loud cruising down the highway and nice V8 note at idle. The large angled polished tip looks great exiting the truck in the stock location."

"Exhaust has nice rumble, not loud and obnoxious. Looks are fantastic. This is my second Banks exhaust and I am always pleased. I can never notice a diff. with horsepower gain. If there is its minimal. Auto Anything is really a great source for finding AFM parts for your ride. Price was more than fair and it was delivered quickly. I recomend Banks over all the others. Ease of install and longevity of construction."

"This kit comes with very easy and clear instructions to follow. I took me about 1 hour and 45 minutes to install by myself, most of which is taking the stock exhaust off. Once on it gives my truck a nice deep tone that isn't to loud. Even when accelerating you can't have the radio to loud or you won't hear the exhaust. I could feel a definite improvement in power. In combination with a Banks ram air intake, there's a vast improvement over stock. Also getting .5 to 1 mpg better."

"The banks monster exhaust is exactly what I was looking for as far as looks and sound. I had it installed by a professional and it took him about 35 minutes. It has a deep rumble around town and on the hwy it has a mild tone. The only complaint I have is the drone resonance I get around 1800 rpms, it's enough to cause a rather annoying vibration in the cab. Other than that the banks is a great quality product at an affordable price, thanks autoanything!"

"I put this on my 2004 Nissan Titan and it looks and sounds great. I highly recommend it. I was thinking about Magnaflow however after talking to several people and reading reviews I decided on the Banks System. The manufacturing for ease of installation was great. The system is very high quality. The 5" tip looks geat too."

"Great product! I have a 2007 5.3 Silverado Classic. It took me 1 hour to take off the stock and put on the banks system. About the product: It sounds great. There is almost no difference in cab noise at 60 mph than stock, but when you get on it you know its there! Exactly what I wanted. I have only had it for week so no notice in MPG, but I do feel a bit more power, more so at passing speeds. I recommend this exhaust to anyone looking for a great sounding and looking up grade."

"Installation of this product on my vehicle was easier than ever, almost too easy. Hardest part was getting the old exhaust off the hangars. Word of advice use lots of WD-40 and PB Blast. Took 2 hours for entire project. Results are awesome. Great appearance and awesome sound. Get compliments on the sounds and looks of the system all the time. Not loud at highway speeds which is a plus on long hauls. All in all GREAT PRODUCT!!"
