"The catalytic converter was a direct-fit, simply place exhaust gaskets (also purchased from Autoanything) in between the fittings and bolt onto the existing exhaust system. I had to buy replacement 10mm bolts with 1.25 threading to bolt onto the muffler retainer. The exhaust note is a little louder, but not unbearably so. The power gain since installation is noticeable, since this is a performance catalytic converter. Gas mileage hasn't changed appreciably -- we'll see over time. Great price and quick shipping from the manufacturer made this a positive experience."

1994 Toyota Pickup Passed CA Smog with Flying Colors!!!!!!!!

"This CAT shipped fast and the price was great. It was easy to install once I got the bolts out. I had to buy a socket that bites into the bolt head and then use my foot on the wrench to break it loose. I also installed two new bosch oxygen sensors. Started out as a GROSS POLLUTER and ended up with most readings at 0 and a few at 1."

"Amazing Catalytic Converter. Fit and finish are a 10. Bolts right up without any mods whats so ever. California has crazy hard smog laws and with my old ford it passed with flying colors. AutoAnything is the place to buy from and Magnaflow is the product to get."

"About one year ago I installed a new engine into my CX Hatchback. This is a street legal car so I went all out with CARB parts to make sure I would pass visual inspection. This catalytic converter was the last part I bought after failing CA Smog as a GROSS POLLUTER. Had it installed at a shop so I could get the warranty and now I'm completely street legal with my new engine. Thanks for a good price and for shipping so quick autoanything."

"This is my first purchase from auto anything, and the whole transaction was excellent! First off my converter got here so fast, it got here the day it was shipped out! The quality is great and it's a great price for a direct fit! I've got a 1990 toyota celica. My dad installed this converter fast and easily, no modifications! I'm not sure why so many people said they had to make modifications, perhaps it was not a direct fit for their vehicles! This is the part that came up for my make and model car, I highly doubt this exact part would come up for so many makes and models! One person said they got it for their SUV, i find it hard to believe a big SUV would have the same exact converter as my little '90 celica coupe! I took my car to get smogged on Friday and it passed, I wasn't worried at all! Very happy with this product and I'm sure it will last for a long time!"

NOT a direct fit, too loud

"The price was good on the converter, but the return elbow on the side of the converter was too short to reach the line. I had to cut the pipe off the old converter and weld it to the new elbow. ALso had to slot the front slip fitting because it was too large to clamp down on my y pipe for a nice fit. Makes a loud resonating sound inside the car. I guess you get what you pay for."

Magnaflow Catalytic for Volvo 240 Wagon

"This catalytic was bought for a 1993 Volvo 240 wagon. It is a California OBDII require catalytic to meet the new standard. The car passed smog with flying colors for the first time in six years. The fit was almost perfect with only an adapter needing to be welded to the new unit to extend it 4 more inches. Don't know why it is short but I don't care because the price was right, and the car will now be able to be kept for a much longer time than originally thought. Thanks AutoAnything."
