Description

You can upgrade your street machine with a powerful intake, a rip-roaring cat-back exhaust and a cutting-edge tuner for solid energy gains. But, if you’re running with stock catalytic converters, you’re letting power slip through your fingertips. For fast-flowing exhaust and greatly enhanced engine efficiency, step up your ride with a Magnaflow Catalytic Converter.

More performance than replacement, Magnaflow Catalytic Converters are engineered to unclog the bottleneck caused by stock cats. The special honeycomb-shaped precious metal catalyst maximizes the internal surface space, so your exhaust gasses aren’t slowed-down on their way out. Plus, Magnaflow builds your catalytic converter from 16-gauge stainless steel with welded seams for maximum durability.

From direct-fit cats designed to bolt easily onto your vehicle to universal-fit options, there’s a Magnaflow cat primed to invigorate your ride. Best of all, your ingenious Magnaflow Catalytic Converter meets Federal EPA emissions standards, and select models meet CARB emissions standards. To top it off, your Magnaflow Catalytic Converters are backed by a 5-year, 50,000-mile external and a 25,000-mile internal warranty.

Notes

AutoAnything is the best! They were by far the cheapest place to order the catalytic converter from. Even my mechanic gasped when I told him the price. He couldn't match the price and told me to go ahead and order it from AutoAnything. Then, when I ordered this, I requested two-day shipping as I needed the part ASAP. Adam M. was nice enough to let me know that the part ships from within the state and that I would get the part in the same amount of time with regular shipping as the two-day option thereby saving me even more money. My only complaint would be that the place who stocked and shipped the catalytic converter should have at least taped the packaging a little better. They just put one piece of tape to secure the flap of the box closed and none elsewhere. By the time I got it, the box was falling apart from the handling and barely contained the hefty catalytic converter. I don't blame AutoAnything, I blame the place it came from. However, I am and always will be a grateful, repeat customer of AutoAnything.

Had to "make fit" was supposed to be a "direct fit" system. Didn't know that a "direct fit" system had to get monkey fitted. Talked to Magnaflow tech service and they said they didn't even have a direct fit for my Blazer. Sounds great

I replaced the stock cat with this...it was mostly clogged so when I put the Magnaflow high flow cat on it did wonders. I had a huge increase in response and power...not to mention it sounds GREAT

Over all a good purchase with a few minor issues. The good: Exact fit. Well built with the exceptions bellow. Passed emissions test with flying colors. The bad: Incomplete welds on one of the three i purchased. Not a big deal for me as I have a welder. O2 sensor socket not properly threaded, I had to buy a tap to thread the socket. "AutoAnything" Web site showed these were "in-stock". They were actually drop shipped from the manufacturer. Magnaflow was out of stock for a week or so.

Took the converter to a local muffler shop and had it installed. The mechanic said it was a quality piece and installed very easy. I have been very satisfied with the results, no more rattles.
