While this is a bolt-in item it is not a single piece. There is a slip joint in the exhaust pipe that must be sealed somehow. Both front and back exhaust seal rings did not seal and they looked to be the wrong sizes. Now I have to take it all to a shop to have them try to fix it which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place.

My 08 pontiac g6 had the same problem as a lot of cars from GM around that production time, the honeycombs in the stock cats were melting. I replaced both cats with these easterns and at 175k miles my car drives like it's new again. My exhaust breathes better, I would recommend buying eastern cats!

So, this was a fantastic price for a replacement system. Unfortunately, it was incomplete and didn't exactly fit. It comes in three section that are held together by two U-bolts. It came with one. The manifold gasket was about 1/8" too small in diameter to mount. So I ended up using the old one... now I have an exhaust leak... Last thing, I wasn't able to use the spring manifold bolts to attach the cat portion to the manifold, they are way too short, they need to be 1" longer.

I was pleased on how well it was to install your product, it fit perfectly and I had everything to make the switch from my old one to the new one. And it took simple tools to get the job done, and better yet it was a good value too, Thank you, Nick
