All the power and performance of Flowmaster’s muscular mufflers without the roaring interior resonance—that’s the idea behind their 40 Series Delta Flow Muffler. It’s the ideal pick for late-model performance cars that want powerful exterior tone while enjoying a quieter ride.
At the heart of the 2-chamber design is Flowmaster’s exclusive Delta Flow technology. This innovative engineering utilizes precision-placed deflectors that not only mute interior sound, they fuel increased exhaust scavenging for the most possible power.
Also ideal for dual exhaust cruisers, the Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Muffler boasts the quality construction you’d expect from Flowmaster. Each Flowmaster muffler is built with 16-gauge aluminized steel or stainless steel for corrosion resistance and fully mig-welded for maximum durability. Best yet, your Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Muffler boasts a 3-year warranty on aluminized and a Limited Lifetime Warranty on stainless steel.

I am extremely pleased with this muffler. I purchased the single in (3") dual out (2.25") for my 2013 Ram 1500 with 5.7L Hemi. It fit perfectly, I needed about 1.5 to 2 feet of 3" pipe to make up the difference in length compared to the stock muffler which the dealer had for surprisingly cheap. As for the sound, its exactly what I was hoping for. Nice, aggressive take off volume but at highway speeds when the MDS kicks in its whisper quiet.

I put on the 40 series muffler with stock pipe and it has a nice deep rumble. I was a simple install, just had to extend the tail on the muffler to use the stock tailpipe. Cost was very reasonable from autoanything.com.

I had a local shop cut the stock muffler on my 2011 GMC Sierra and had this installed. I paid 70 to have it welded on the stock exhaust pipe and could not be happier. if you have my truck you will need the 3" center inlet with 3" offset outlet. There is some resonance inside the cab but nothing crazy that will disturb your conversation or phone calls. could not be happier with the delta flow.

I had the resonator and muffler (which are connected stock) Cut out and replaced with the 40 delta. The sound gave my ford explorer A much more aggressive tone with the 4.6 v8 and it doesnt drone at highway speeds. Worth the money.

Wasn't sure how it would sound on a V6 but all I wanted was something to give it a growl. This is perfect for a V6. It doesn't sound like your trying to get more muffler than you got engine it just a great tone to grab attention. Installation was less than an hour. I put it on a car lift (cheated a little) cut the old one off used small amount of exhaust tubing and a couple clamps and its holding sturdy. Great Deal!

I bought the Flowmaster 40 Series muffler not for the performance but for the sound. I went with the Stainless Steel because it seemed to help cut down on in drone inside of the cab. This is the perfect muffler if you want just a bit more clean smooth sounding exhaust.
