"ordered the muffler on sunday and was shipped monday by friday i had it put on. sounds great on my 1990 toyota 4runner nice deep roar not to loud which is great for my V6 and has been great ever since i had it put on."

"I installed this muffler on my 2000 Toyota 4Runner V6 and I am extremely satisfied with it. Just like all the other reviews say...the muffler is not for someone who wants a loud, deep roaring sound. However, the muffler should not be underestimated. When my truck is idle, you can barely hear the exhaust, but as soon as I put my foot on my pedal a nice roar can be heard from it. Loud enought to turn some heads. It also works great with a K & N cold air intake which van also be bought on autoanything.com. I've noticed a big difference in gas mileage as well."

"Its what I was expecting, it did really met my expectations, I'm happy with my choice, I installed in my Mercury Mountaineer 2000 V8 5.0, I did not make any modification, and it really sounds Nice!!!! just perfect, a sound very weel balanced, not too loud for an suv, but it really let you hear the power of your engine to every one. I recommended very well. Gil."

"the muffler is awesome. its not too loud and its not quite. it has a roar inside the cab around 2000 and 3000 RPM. i also have the K&N CAI and they word wonderfully together. it dosen't sound ricey at high RPM. its a great buy"

"I wasn't sure what to expect because this was my first flowmaster muffler. Let me say that this product sounds so sweet because it's not that loud, just a little rumble. But when you stomp the accelerator she really sounds off."

"Muffler was very easy to install. Excellent sound and performance. Gas milage seems to be a little better due to the less amount of restricition of the muffler. Sound is a little loud but only if you really stand on the throttle pretty heavy. Would highly recommend to anyone that wants more milage and better sound.Add a cold air intake system as I did to get even more milage and performance. AFE or K/N cold air intake can also be purchased from AUTO ANYTHING"

"Shipping was amazingly fast! Muffler sounds great on my 4.7L V8 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Perfect tone..not too loud. Interior resonance is almost unnoticable when your cruising down the highway. Also, noticed a difference in performance. Not sure on the gas mileage yet. I would encourage anyone who is thinking about it to get this muffler."

"This muffler is perfect for anyone that wants to hear their truck sound like what a truck is suppose to sound like. At idle it is hard to tell whether or not it is installed unless you stand next to the tail pipe but once you open the throttle you can hear it roar! It has a very nice deep sound to it so it doesn't sound like you hacked off the muffler or anything. Interior resonance is nice and low so the sound doesn't drain on your ears while driving down the highway. Overall, excellent muffler!!"

"I put this in place of the stock muffler on my X-Runner. 2.25" center in/out. Needed 3 hangers and some extra pipe. Muffler is sweet! The sound is barely louder than stock until you get on the throttle. Then it has a nice aggressive sound. Not raspy at all! No extra interior resonance. Performance gain is obvious. I chose this muffler b/c I wanted quiet performance and I am very pleased."

"After it was welded with stock pipe, it produces a low but not obnoxious low roar. I painted it black and so far the paint has not peeled off. I even feel the low range responds better as I increased the throttle. I would highly recommend this to anyone, but if you want something stupidly loud, get something else."

"More resonance inside the cabin than I had expectd, but not over powering. Nice deep sound. Installed on a Grand Cherokee with a 5.7 Hemi and a K&N Intake system. Really sounds impressive when I put my foot down."

"I had my factory exhaust cutoff and it was dumped under the cab. For no muffler at all I was pleased with how it sounded for awhile but soon grew tired of the noise. I spent hours on the net listening to audio clips of mufflers and compairing customer reviews. After listening to all of the Flowmaster audio clips and reading the reviews I decided to go with the 50 Series SUV Performance. I had it installed the day after it arrived. When I picked my truck up from the muffler shop I expected it to have a nice growl when I started it. Instead it sounded just like it did when it was stock. My first impression of my new muffler was not good. After going from no muffler to what sounded like stock I was disappointed at first. I was not use to being able to hear my motor when I was driving only my exhaust. I would roll my back windows down and accelerate hard to see if I could hear the muffler. After a few miles I went from hating my new exhaust to thinking it might not be so bad. When I got home I backed my truck into the garage and racked the pipes to see what it sounded like echoing off the walls. I was pleased with the sound I heard. I also noticed that the muffler seems to get a little louder as it warmed up. Over I'm pleased with the sound. The muffler delivers just the right amount of sound to let people know the truck isn't stock but you can hardly hear it much more than stock in the cab. If I had to do it again I might go with the regular 50 Series to get just a little more growl in and out of the cab but overall I am very happy with my choice. I recommend this muffler to anyone looking for something that is just a little louder than stock in the cab but has a good growl outside the cab. Tommy"

"put on Toyota 4Runner with factory driveline, existing pipes, and stock catalytic converter. Sounds good, gives it a good low sound at low RPM's without being too loud at highway (over noise of MT tires too). I would recommend it for this application"

"I will admit, i am completely impressed with the sound i'm getting out of my 2000 blazer with the 4.3 v6. it definitely sounds like a truck now, and everyone says it has a good, deep rumble in low RPMs, and i've noticed a small power gain. I will combine this with a Cold air intake, which should give it a deeper sound and more noticeable power gains, but i cannot wait."
