Description

Increased power, torque and mileage are vital for today’s trucks, SUVs and RVs. That’s why Flowmaster makes a 50 Series Big Block Muffler that cranks-out extra force at the pedal for towing. Plus, the efficiency of the Flowmaster 50 series Big Block reduces under-hood temperatures, lengthening the life of critical engine components.

Don’t forget the famous Flowmaster sound you get with the 50 Series Big Block Muffler. It’s a milder tone—quieter than the 40 Series—but with plenty of the famous Flowmaster roar. Interior resonance is greatly reduced by the large H-chamber design, which not only makes for a calmer cab but also handles your big engine under heavy loads.

The 50 Series Big Block Muffler boasts the quality construction you’d expect from Flowmaster. Each Flowmaster Muffler is built with 16-gauge aluminized steel for corrosion resistance and fully mig-welded for maximum durability. Best yet, your Flowmaster 50 Series Big Block Muffler boasts a 3-year warranty.

Easy to install. Had it installed in less than a hour. Sound is great. Very subtle. NO resonance. If anything it could of been a touch louder but the vehicle is used as a family people mover. Overall very satisfied.

I have the Spectre air intake system, and the Airaid throttle body spacer installed on 1999 Silverado 5.3L. I just thought I was getting the full advantage from them, that was until I installed this Muffler. It really opened things up, faster throttle response, and better high RPM performance. It sounds great, nice deep tone, and not so loud you have to worry about getting pulled over. This is a must have for anybody looking to really get the most out of there Engine. Best of all it took only about 1.5Hrs. to install. Weld right up with no extension pipes, on 1999-2002 Chevy Silverados.

I installed this muffler on my truck. The only other engine mods I have on is a Spectre CAI. I highly advise getting it welded, as the clamps just couldn't secure the muffler properly. The shop charged me $150 to weld it- a ripoff, but it's worth it. Flowmaster says that the GM 6.0 is the hardest motor to quiet down, so I advise getting this muffler. According to Flowmaster, this is the biggest, quietest muffler they produce. The sound is great. Very powerful, not too loud, either. There is a noticeable drone at around 2000 rpm, but I got used to it fast. It sounds great on the inside, and even better on the outside. I did certainly feel a power boost all across the rpm band, but no improvement in mpg's. And as usual, AutoAnything was terrific.

Sound was Great and 1 MPG increase in mileage. Muffler attachment did match exhaust pipe. A little fabrication required but well worth it. Very Happy with purchase!

This muffler is exactly what I expected and exactly as advertised. It has a very mellow sound and yet the inside cab of the truck is much quieter than the Volant series I had on before. I used the 3 inch in and 3 inch out to a single tail pipe to maintain departure angle for off-roading. Recommend this product and this retailer. Quick delivery.

Perfect rumble, not irritating. I think this would be the answer for anyone wanting to keep the sound close to stock until you get on it then the gates of hell open up :-0

Put this on my 05 Yukon Denali 6.0. Having driven street cars in the past, I thought it could be louder at Idle, but it does sound great when you get on it and there is NO inside drone while cruising. I drove it in downtown Chicago not long ago and the sound from the muffler bouncing between the building was sweet. All in all I am happy.
