"One problem with the installation of the Magnaflow cat-back system for my '06 Ford Ranger. The problem is not with the Magnaflow system. The bottom half of the Ford air box is a real bear to remove. Ford has the air box very securely mounted in the truck. All you can do is pull and or pry very hard to remove the bottom of the air box."

"the magnaflow exhaust was very easy to install on my 2009 g5 pontiac. The tone is excellent and the fit was right on.
I would recommend this system to anyone who wants to upgrade the exhaust, but doesnt want excessive noise."

"My biggest worries when installing this was:
1. How is it going to fit / look?
2. How will it sound? I hate the "fart can" sound...
Answers:
1. Fit and Finish is amazing. It was also incredibly easy to install. Once the old exhaust slid off (the hardest part is getting the nuts off at the cat studs if they're rusted), it was as easy as pie. I would really recommend getting it on a lift...much easier that way.
2. Sound: Perfect! It's produces a deep drone at idle from my Altima 2.5 I-4. At high RPM's, a little beast inside becomes angry and purs. It's perfect."

"Tried installing using Rhino Ramps to lift the car. This worked well for removing the old exhaust, but it was impossible to put the new tail pipes in. Wound up driving off the ramps, jacking the car up, and removing the tires to complete the install. Other than that, it sounds great and it is a lot more responsive. Gas mileage appears to be a little better as well..."

"I installed the dual exhaust on my son't truck. The quality of the system is excellent, all parts were included and the instructions were straight forward. Only one cut on the stock system (10.5 inches aft of the stock Cat). All pieces bolted up to existing/stock hangers, because this was a dual system, I had to install one additional hanger (included in kit). Great sound, and look good. Very happy with the system and price from Autoanything."

"I got a very good deal on my Magnaflow Dual Exhaust for my 2000 GMC Sierra pickup from AutoAnything.com! System installed pretty easily, and now my truck has that nice, mellow throaty exhaust note. Its quiet at highway speeds, but on acceleration, it sounds brawny. I love it and would recommend it to others. I'd looked at Gibson (wouldn't fit without removing spare from under the bed) and Borla (almost twice the price). Magnaflow was priced very reasonable. I don't know about longevity .. that remains to be seen, but since its stainless, and my truck already is almost 10 years old (but only 56K miles), I suspect it will be the last system I ever put on."

"I was looking for an exhaust for my 2009 Challenger SRT that would give me a little more power and a better sound then the stock pipes. After much reading and several YouTube videos of Challenger exhaust installations and sound clips, I decided to go with Magnaflow Performance Exhaust part #16886.
The system looked easy enough to install, but I didn't have a good (safe) way to get the car off the ground. I went to my local performance shop where I have all my vehicles serviced and paid $128.00 to have the new pipes installed with the OEM tips.
At idle there's not much difference from the stock muffers, but when you "get on it" the sound is great. My wife was following me home from the shop and with the windows up and the radio on, she said it was to loud. I of course disagreed with her opinion and think it sounds like a Challenger should sound - powerful!
Although I always think car parts are to expensive, AutoAnything did give me a nice discount to make the whole purchase a great one. I really enjoy my new exhaust and can't wait to purchase a new performance part for my SRT from AutoAnything."

"Of the systems out there this is probably the best performance for the money. I have owned the TRD exhaust and the JBA exhaust prior...
The sound is outstanding.
The only drawback is the connections. I wish one of these manufacturers would set a precedent and use v-band connections as they are by far the best exhaust connection type...."

"want the truth?
When everyone says that getting the old stuff off is the hardest part they are not liying. Its nearly impossible to get some of the old crap off, be it rust or even being fused together. If you dont need to save the old stuff just take some advice and saw it off.
The whole process took less than 3 hours with at least 2 1/2 hours just to get the old stuff off and maybe about a half hour to get the new stuff on. (if that) If your thinking about buying this or anything for yor car you might want to check how hard it will be to get the old stuff off. How ever when its all said and done good look, nice deep tone, not to loud that you will have to worry about the cops at all which is a nice relief, and i think i can deffinatly feel the difference, much better pick up and response. you wil love reving it up at reds. i strongly recomend! Hope this helps because this is some of the info i was looking for."

"The sound of the exhaust is nice and deep, but not as loud as i expected it to be. It might be since my car is a 4cyl, but i still expected more. It still sounds very good and is very easy to install. If you have something that can lift your car above over your head than this is very easy to install. It has a nice clean look and seems as if it was welded on by a pro. Over all, for the price, it was a decent buy."

"This exhaust has a nice deep, mellow tone... at cruising speed it is just barely noticable, but at full acceleration, it really comes alive and sounds great! I didn't want it to sound like the hilarious dual pipes you see on pickups. Instead, I purchased this exhaust for the performance gains. It seems to deliver a bit more of a punch at low RPM, and certainly continues up through the power band... very noticable performance improvement. I really like the fit/finish of the exhaust too... It fits well into the underside well and looks great. Only problem during the entire install was removing the OLD exhaust behind the muffler. There are three bolts there that were completely locked up. For the 2006 Gr. Cherokee, you WILL need a saws-all to remove the old exhaust. The directions were a bit lacking, but it's not rocket science, so you won't have any trouble. But take my word for it and have your saw ready."
