2001 Cobra install

"Had local Muffle shop install. It is worth a few extra bucks to have a pro do the install to an installation guarantee. Excellent sound and acceleration. Not too loud definitely not wimpy. Nice deep powerful sounding roar. 3.5" tips look great. It turns heads..."

Not for the faint of heart!

"I've wanted a Magnaflow performance exhaust system since I bought my Dakota 3 years ago (Sport Quad Cab, 4X4). I finally took the plunge and some buddies of mine offered to install it (being performance car and truck guys with serious skills, whereas I am "just a girl" without the garage experience to do something like this myself). So getting the old exhaust off after 3 years of New England climate to harden all the attachments and rust over everything... that took about 2 hours, a lot of patience, and serious forearm strength. Getting the pristine, stainless steel Magnaflow system aligned, seamlessly attached, and fully secured... took about half an hour, if that. The two guys who installed it and worked on various other truck improvements that day were very impressed with the quality of the Magnaflow system in design and manufacturing (both guys are engineers, too). There's plenty of secure overlap where the pipe sections go together, the welds on the hangers are nicely done, and the material is definitely built to last. As the girl who wanted her truck to sound like a "Big Boy Truck" and drive with a little more bite...I couldn't be happier. It sounds great and it definitely feels like it's driving differently (a bit more power, stronger pull). I've even noticed a slight improvement on fuel economy (at least according to the truck computer). Oh, and the appearance of the Magnaflow system with the stainless steel angle-cut tip... Priceless. It looks really sharp! The only negative I would have is that sometimes it can be a bit loud in the cab--but that was sort of the point, so I'm not complaining. But that is why I say Magnaflow's exhaust system is not for the faint of heart. Not everyone wants that roar in their ears... If you do, you won't be disappointed!"

Great sound!

"This exaust sounds great! I thought it would've had a higher pitch to it...but it has a very low throaty sound. The only problem is the flange that connects to the cat is not a tight fit. There is a slight air leak. Besides that everything is great. Took about 1 1/2 hrs to install. Great exaust system! I would recomend it to anyone."

2005 Mazda 6I Hatchback

"Great sound, small horsepower increase. Didn't line up well with rear of car. The tips set in too far and don't line up with the cut outs. I'm gonna have to do something else with the existing hangers to straighten it out. Like the exhaust, but I shouldn't have to do all of the adjusting paying what I payed for it! Hope this helps some of the Mazda 6 folks out there."

"The instalation was pretty easy. The only hitch was making the connection from old pipe to new pipe, The new pipe's opening was not wide enough to accept the new pipe. I had to cut and then use to gasket goop to seal it off. Other than that it went smooth and sounds Great."

"Great Exhaust. Installed in just over an hour with simple installation. Exhaust has a nice note does not sound like a lawn mower, but not as deep as a V8. If looking for a deeper tone get custom exhaust without mufflers."

"The magnaflow catback system makes my truck sound likes its just eaten its wheates. It's not crazy loud either so the police don't give me that crazy look when I pass by. Great product and that discount made it even better. AutoAnything is the best!!!"
