I had to remove the manifolds to replace broken header bolts because the bolt heads had snapped off. So I figured if the manifolds had to be removed I might as well replace them. Most of the replacement went ok, and even the broken bolts could be removed from the head with vise grips. The other hardware that attached the EGR system was so rusty I had to use a cut off wheel. All in all everything went ok. I haven't really noticed a big gain in MPG, but it is a 4X4 with a 6.0L. The exhaust has about the same sound.
