Good quality exhaust. I didn't want to put restrictive copy of the original exhaust on my 4runner. Found this one. Price and quality are hard to beat. Not real loud but you will hear it. Sounds ok but I have the 4cyl so only can be so good. I expect it will last a few years.

I was skeptical of a value priced exhaust. The same OEM exhaust costs about $600. JBA kit says to use the stock exhaust flange gasket and bolts from cat flange. You will most certainly have to buy a new gasket and won't be able to reuse the one you have. Beyond that, it was a fairly easy install. My JBA exhaust came in three pieces and fit using the factory exhaust mounting points. The sound is very similar to OEM but a touch more throaty; -they difference is barely even noticeable.

It took longer to cut the old out than to install the new JBA. Its got a great growl, love to rip through gears (manual) @ idle is quit as a motor with 267000 on it can be. classic/clean tip looks good on the truck

The pipes are very well made. The sound is pretty mellow, but louder than a stock Toyota muffler. However the angle of the tip is positioned in an upward angle. The hanger needs to be heated and and then bent to bring the tip to a level or downward position.

I purchased the JBA exhaust system to replace my stock exhaust which had high miles on it and i wanted some performance to boot ,JBA went on with ease and good fitment, and the parts look quality built which i'm sure will out last the rest of my vehicles life span .improved throttle response and exhaust note with out being overwhelmingly loud ( i live in so cal so no road salts to kill my exhaust just f.y.i).best part was shipped to my door fast and on the vehicle even faster, about an hour

I bought this system to replace a rusted out one. If I had gone with a original replacement choice it would have cost me more money and only been made of galvenized metal. this kit is very well made, once we had the old rusty stuff of it only took 20 min to bolt this up. Great sound, can hardly hear it at idle but nice sound from the 6 cylinder under acceleration. Only issue I had was one of the studs for the oxygen sensor pulled out when i went to tighten it. It wasn't welded in very well, put a little J B weld to it and good to go. Excellent system for the money.
