PaceSetter Exhaust Systems Part #88-1242 Customer Reviews
Reviewed by Rob W (Bellevue, WA) Reviewed for a 1960 Austin Healey Sprite — Apr 03, 2012 10:39 AM
The exhaust is installed on the Sprite and the sound is terrific. Possibly a little too important for such a small car but it brings the Walter Mitty out of you. Other people take notice when you pass by. It took more work to assemble the system than I expected as the down pipe diameter is larger than the exhaust tip diameter. I increased the entry pipe to the muffler 2" to mate up with the size of the down pipe and change the location of the exhaust hanger. Some trips to the muffler shop for extra pipe were needed. Overall look is great and the sound is fantastic, much better than expected.

Went on fairly easily after some custom work. Just a bit louder than I would like. Needs an extra baffle that can be installed or removed. Looks good on my MG Midget.
