Header was well built. Great finish, very pretty. Install was a pain, but I figured it out. The egr housing hits the header flange, so I enlarged the mount holes with a drill bit and it shifted the egr just enough. Install took me 3 hours and I am an experienced mechanic. First test drive I noticed no difference. After a few fillups and the computer adjusted and get better pedal feel and little better fuel economy. Even with the hassle of the install, no regrets.

Very impress with the quality put in, heavy gauge, and plating of headers. The graph they used for power & torque was unbelievable. Which show twice as much as stock, something you get with maybe a supercharger. It was too hard to believe, and I know I didn't get anywhere that. One thing the manufacture wouldn't answer for the 05 Tacoma 2.7L was why the tubes weren't of equal length?

Arrived quickly, well packed and complete > installer reused 20i3 gasket (not included w/ headers) only problem was location of a 'bolt' that nearly defied removal > Toyota's < Too early to calculate mileage but the Tacoma (2.7 liter motor) now climbs over Laurel Ridge in OD;before the K&N and new headers we needed 4th gear to get over. Assuming that the mileage will improve along with the power gain. Sounds Fine. WEC

Overall I'm impressed. The installation will require right tools and donut ring gasket t exhaust pipe for Toyota Tacoma 2.7 2012. Definately helps with acceleration! Make sure to drive vehicle hard after install, and re tighten torque header.

I put this header in my 2006 2.7 tacoma. It definately adds to high end torque and horsepower. I could feel the difference within 5 seconds of driving it. A header definately worth buying for the price.

Awesome! Doug Thorley knows what they are doing...better than the stock Toyota headers (2.7 L four) and I definitely can feel the difference in horse power...passed a 2007 or 2008 Toyota Tacoma V6 going up a hill in fourth gear with power to spare! I added the K & N cold air intake system, replaced the first catalytic converter with a high flow/Hi-temp (Magna Flow)catalytic converter (kept the second catalytic converter stock) & replaced the stock muffler with a stainless steel Magna Flow oval that was smaller in size to reduce weight and for; increased HP, Gas Mileage, and great sound too! I am very happy with Doug Thorley, the stock Toyota headers were crimped and the Doug Thorley have a better forced air flow cooling system than the stock headers too! They went on perfectly and I bought the cermaic headers for better perfromace and cooling as I am not using the Toyota stock heat deflector...don't feel it is of any benefit with the set up I now have! Thus, Doug Thorley does know what they are doing and they have been around the business for 40 + years...what more can I say?
