It doesn't have the sound I was expecting. I have the same system on my 2015 Ram and it sounds awesome, not much difference on the Chevy. FYI - the installation directions and pictures suck! Both pipes go between the differential and the shock and the hangers go on the inside of the frame. Also, if you have a hitch use the rear exit and they will mount inside the hitch frame.

I installed the system the right side fits fine but the left side is a nightmare. The first pipe you have to cut the hanger off. can not install pipe unless you do.The second pipe is too long. You have to cut 3/4 of a inch off pipe right tight against the spare tire. You have to ajust pipe between spare tire and differential about a 1/4 inch on each side.Pulled tire back as far as it will go.Lousy engineering FLOWMASTER.

I have a friend who has his own auto repair shop and he offered it's use, made everything easier. Once the truck was up on the rack, layout all the parts was next, checked to the instructions and off we were. Never had to look at the instructions again. Everything fit, no leftover parts, lowered the truck, started the truck and had a big smile on the face!!!! Total time 1 1/2 hours including clean-up. Having the use of the lift was the key, made it so easy to remote (cut) the old system.

Awesome sound at startup and when you get on it. Only a little bit of drone at crusing speed so its not obtrusive. The dual chrome tips look awesome going straight out the back. Only small disappointment was that the wire hanger on the left over axle pipe did appear to be welded on somewhat wrong and required some bending of it and the mating hanger on the frame to make enough clearance for the rubber piece to fit between.
