This is a good exhaust system. I had a 4.0L sohc v6 1999 ford explorer and it fits good. Sounds good too. The sounds get deeper as you where in the muffler a little and get it heated up too.

Everything was perfect. The quality, the look, the directions. I installed it on a 99 Explorer with a dual inlet. The Y pipe for the dual inlet was to narrow by a 1/4 of an inch. After an hour managed to get it to fit but not perfect. Sounds awesome, looks great but going to have to take it in to see if a professional can heat and bend it get it fit better. Rattles on occasion. Needed the truck and couldn't wait to see if they could send me another one.

Sound is just right; you can hear it but it's not loud. The only difficult part of installation was getting the old system off. Fit is good, but tight clearance around rear suspension. Had to remove the rear stabilizer bar during installation.
