Nice exhaust. was looking for a bit more towing power but didn't want alot of noise. This exhaust accomplished both. Installed easily and looks nice, good quality at the right price

Great price great sound, not to loud, and easy installation. It only took about thirty minutes to install and most of that time was taking the old system out.

A good product with a nice sound. Installation should include torque specs for nuts, not just say "tighten". Take care to make sure all alignment is correct before you tighten as adjustment later is more difficult!

If you want better acceleration and a slight increase in sound then this is the system for you. With the active fuel management there is a slight vibration around 30 MPH or than that is not very noticeable. If you would a louder system them go with the extreme split. I paid my dealer $70 for the install. Exhaust is made for GM trucks with Active fuel management. No difference in mileage up or down but definetly more power especially at start to 35 mph.

My gibson is exactly what i wanted it is not to loud and works great with the triptronic system in the 08 silverados. It is giving me great gains in both power and gas mileage. Glad I went with gibson I almost went with flowmaster but didnt want anything to loud.

The install was easy and only had to make one cut on the stock pipe to remove. Sounds great, not too loud, and the tip looks great. Definitely recommend....

'08 Chevy 1500 Crew Cab 5.3L with Active Fuel Management. Been a Flowmaster man for 10 years. Out of habit, 2 days after getting the new Chevy, dropped the factory water heater and installed 3 chamber 50 Series SUV Flowmaster...big mistake with the new GM Active Fuel Management engines. Did my homework after the fact....Gibson is the only economic system that is designed to handle the engine exhaust when switching from V8 to V4 mode without generating an annoying "backfire" sound; not the Flowmaster sound we all know & love...It's horrible. Learn from my mistake...go with a GIBSON...they are a easy to DIY and sound right.
