Magnaflow Exhaust Systems Part #16614 Customer Reviews

I like that when I ordered my exhaust system that I was given a tracking number. I called about three days after ordering and was told what day the system would arrive. The day I was told I called back and was told it was loaded and would arrive that day. This gave me time to tear off the old system and just as I crawled from under my truck, the UPS truck came with the new dual system. I was done in about 45 minutes with the new duals. I am impressed with the wase of installation and they sound great. I like the big base tone at start-up and gassing it. I also like the way they quite down to almost nothing at cruising speeds. Thank You Auto Anything. Mike from P.A.

A Real Good Choice On My Part. Love The Sound. I had My Local Midas Dealer Install It For Me. Said It Was A Snap To Install. Looks Great On My F- 150.

I AM PLEASE WITH THE EXCELLENT SOUND QUALITY, AND NO LOUD DRONE I HAVE HEARD OF WITH OTHER SYSTEMS. LOUD...IN A GOOD WAY... WHEN ON THE THROTTLE, BUT ONLY A LIGHT BURBLE CRUISING. ONE HANGER ON THE TAIL PIPE TOOK A LITTLE HEAT/ALTERATION TO ALIGN WITH THE OTHER SIDE; BUT THAT WAS ABOUT IT. GOOD FIT AND APPEARANCE; EXCELLENT SOUND, AND AN OVERALL GOOD VALUE. CONSIDERED THE JBA SYSTEM TOO, SINCE I HAD ONE ON MY LAST TRUCK; BUT VERY HAPPY WITH THIS CHOICE. IT HAS ALSO MADE MY THROTTLE RESPONSE BETTER, AND THE TRUCK FEELS LIGHTER ON IT'S FEET TOO. I ALSO COMBINED THIS WITH A AEM CAI SYSTEM.

Quality of materials was excellent. Engineering was well thought-out. My only wish is that the illustrations accompanying the exhaust system should be bigger and more detailed. Most of the system uses existing hangers. The additional hangers are fairly easy to install. I love the mellow exhaust sound. No resonance whatsoever at highway speeds, but a nice tone on acceleration. Throttle response has improved noticeably. Looking forward to towing my 6500 lb boat to see if there is a noticeable power improvement.

Great system offers an instant noticeable increase in horsepower. Looks great and sounds great! Better yet, the sound in the cab is not overbearing, just a nice gentle rumble (which actually put my 3 year old to sleep). But, when you step on it, it won't let you forget it's there. I had this installed at a local garage because you really need a lift. $160 bucks to install. ** Warning - the instruction for the F150 assume you have no hitch. The garage could not utilize my stock hanger locations as the pipes would conflict with the hitch. So, They spot-welded the included hangers to the sides of the hitch - problem solved. I would buy this system again.

Perfect: It was instaled the next day after receiving it. It has a very nice throaty sound; not too loud, but mellow. Preple look at the rear of most trucks and see the twin pipes coming out the back and ask me what type of exhaust I have and I tell them that it is a MagnaFlow and how they can obtain one for their vehicle.

WOW....Awesome system. Would recommend to anyone wanting a awesome rumble. With this exhaust and the K&N Charger intake I also purchased from autoanything previously, you cant go wrong. I can literally feel the power. Just cant keep my foot from holding the accelerator to the floor. Made very well and the fit was terrific.

For the money i like this exhaust system compared to other high end systems. This was my first experience with a cat-back so i didn't know what to expect. I installed the system on my 2006 5.4 liter 4X4 F-150 in about three hours crawling around on the garage floor. Assembly wasn't to bad. Easier than i expected except for my neck and back getting tired. A creeper may have helped. The only problem was the rear hangers had to be shimmed with several washers so they would hang level to the frame. Tech support was helpful and they had new hangers sent within a few days. The hangers were the same as the existing so i'll just do with the shims for now? I would suggest having someone view the exhaust tips for symmetry while securing the clamps for best alignment so you can stay under the vehicle and move the pipes into proper position. Performance wise, i can tell there is a little more pep in the throttle and i like the sound. Not too lound and not too quiet! Kind of mellow with a nice low tone. The more throttle the louder it is but quiet at highway speeds. Overall i would recommend this system it's a nice upgrade from the OEM. If it wasn't for the hangers i would give this a five star!

Nice simple installation. Nice upgraded growl, without alot of cab resonance. Seems like it added a mpg also. Significant increase in bottom end torque and mid range pull...well worth it.
