Magnaflow Exhaust Systems Part #15659 Customer Reviews

The exhaust was super easy to install, hardest part was removing the stock exhaust which was only difficult due to not having a lift. Really brought the truck to life. Only thing is after about 20 miles after installation there started to be a squeeking sound from idle to about 15 mph. No clear sign as to why ...

I recently purchased the cat pipe and muffler system from Auto Anything and put it on my truck as soon as I got it.. It's was exactly what I was looking for modest but agressive sounding when you hit the gas hard and a beautiful note when the car is at idle. Well worth the investment! Just installed a new engine and wanted a stainless steel exhaust that I don't have to worry about rusting or causing me problems later down the line. Shipping was fast considering it came from the west coast!

This system was purchased to replace a Gibson cat back system for my Durango. I won't go into details about the Gibson, only that it had to be replaced. Once the previous system was cut out, the Magnaflow installed in less that 15 min. Very easy!! Looks to be great quality. Love the sound.

The exhaust was very easy to install once I cut off my old system, which was not so easy. Keep in mind that you only get two clamps in the package. Not a problem if the stock systems clamps are still in usable condition. Mine were not, so I had to make a quick trip to Auto Zone to get a new one($2.99). The system looks good and fit perfectly on the stock mounting points and bumper cut out. It is much quieter than I expected, but it still sounds good. Bottom line is I got a noticeable HP gain and that's what I wanted.

I had the Magnaflow cat -back system installed at a local Midas shop (mainly just to get them to cut off the old system) about 900 miles ago and I am very happy. The fit was perfect with the 3.5" tip coming out exactly centered on the factory bumper cut out. The sound lets you know it is not stock, but not too loud.. until you jump on it. I am most impressed with the milage increase. I went from 12.6 to 15.3 (17%) avg. highway/city after a little over 900 miles. It probably will get better as soon as I get over the sound of stepping on it...
