I recently installed this on my daughter's TJ. Her Jeep has the 4.0L 6 cyl., with a Banks intake. We left the stock manifold in place. There was a noticeable improvement in low end power, and the sound is perfect. Deeper, but without any annoying drone. Installation was very straightforward. For you do-it-yourselfers, jack up the front of the transfer case before you remove the skid plate bolts. This makes getting to the connection at the catalytic converter MUCH easier.

Great product, sounds good, not loud inside with even with softtop. The hardest thing about the install is taking the old exhaust off, if you want it in one piece. With my buddy's lift it took 45 minutes from pulling out tools to putting them up.

Could not be more pleased. Sounds great, not to loud inside Jeep, nice sound outside.Very easy install and great quality. I also put on AEM high flow air intake on at the same time. With both, added power and about 2 mpg. I have a passing gear again and have my fifth gear back with 32 inch mud tires, hard top, roof rack with 4 KC lights on the top. Worth every penney spent.

I did a lot of research before purchasing the Banks Monster Exhaust and I couldn't be happier. It was an ease to install, maybe about an hour for the mechanically inclined, and the sound is perfect. Not too loud and obnoxious but just deep enough at an idle to be noticed. I also purchased the Banks intake about 3 months prior through Autoanything and it too was a good investment. Shipping was quick and packed perfectly. My advice: Use this website and get this system...you wont be dissapointed, at least I wasn't. Best of luck.

I received my shipment before the estimated date range, it took my boyfriend and his step-dad less than an hour to take off the old system and replace with the new! Great bang for the buck!!!

This is a nice system for the price. Installation was fairly easy, took just a little over an hour. Did have to cut original muffler and tailpipe apart for removal. Only change I would recommend for the kit is to use 2 stainless band type clamps instead of one U-bolt style at rear of muffler. I had a leak between the muffler and tailpipe that was fixed by adjusting and retightening the U-bolt clamp. Sound is nice with a slight rumble, not to loud.

Installation took under 2 hours by myself, no issues, easier when you cut off the old exhaust, use some WD40 to ease off the rubber exhaust hangers. I had to take off the scrape plate holding the transmission up. Looks great and sounds good. Hoping not to sound too loud, but not bad. Gives a little bit of extra power, haven't had a chance to check mileage. Looking at installing a cold air intake to compliment.
