Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Mufflers Reviews

Flowmaster

Reviewed By Linda O (Mahwah, NJ) Reviewed for a 1999 BMW 5-Series —2/7/2011 3:04 PM

This muffler is great, dont get me wrong but the representatives did not know a thing about my car, although the said they did. I sent back and order a new muffler that they recomeneded two times before i had the right one. The car sounds great and has a very deep tone to it. Not too ricey at all which is what i was looking for. It has the loudest tone to it at about 2000-2500 rpms. The muffler was extremly hard to install and remember to get it bigger or smaller than the pipe on your car so that it may slide on or in and make it easier to weld. I am decentlt happy the way it turned out. (3.5 out of 5 stars)

Flowmaster Super 44: Aggressiveness in a box.

This muffler is great, nice and aggressive, very deep rumble. Makes a V8 sound like it should. Overall, very happy with it. A bit of drone around 2000 rpm, but manageable. Good buy.

Magnaflow Performance Mufflers Reviews

Not Quite What I Expected but Still Like It.

Reviewed By Dan S (Coldwater, OH) Reviewed for a 2009 Dodge Ram —8/12/2016 1:52 PM

Had the #12588 installed with the Y-pipe upgrade on my 2009 Dodge Ram. This is my first Magnaflow muffler, and after watching numerous youtube videos I went with the 22" in fear of the drone. I was expecting to hear more of a difference when accelerating over stock, but I'm still early in the break in process. I've noticed a slight drone around 1500 rpms, it's not bad and could go away over time.
