6 hours install with hand tools being careful. Noticeable increase in power over 1999 stock manifolds.

I play proball and my buddy on my team has the doug thorley longtubes on his 09 6.2 silverado and he talked about it helping more with Power than even his Tuner. He wasn't lying. As far as installation goes. Just take your time and do it right. Take a day and do it right and it's not bad at all. Once you get the stock headers off putting the new ones on is not bad. Use PB blaster to loosen old headers. Much easier after

I spent a lot of time researching all the different brands of long tube headers available for my 96 z28. Kooks was by far the favorite on all of the forums that I read, except for one category - price. Then I found them at autoanything.com at a much lower price than anywhere else. I'm very glad that I did. I got the Kooks headers and y pipe and they are fantastic, everything fit perfectly making a tough installation go a lot smoother. Quality is great and I can really feel the gain in power!
